About Titanic Hotel Liverpool
The Titanic Hotel occupies the North Warehouse at Stanley Dock, part of the dock system that forms Liverpool's UNESCO-listed waterfront heritage. The building went up in the 1850s to store rum and tobacco, stood derelict for decades, and reopened as a hotel in 2014 with most of its industrial character intact. Brick vaults, cast-iron columns and the original timber structure are all still visible, and the corridors are long enough to feel like the warehouse they were.
The 153 bedrooms are the largest in the city by a wide margin, running from roughly 56 to 76 square metres. That space is the reason most people book: even entry-level rooms take a sofa, a desk and a substantial bathroom without crowding, and the vaulted ceilings and exposed brickwork give them a character that new-build hotels cannot match. Dockside rooms look directly onto the water. Free wi-fi, flat-screen televisions and good toiletries are standard throughout.
Stanley's Bar and Grill serves breakfast through to dinner in a theatrically lit space under the vaults, with afternoon tea overlooking the dock and a rum bar that nods to what the building once held. Maya Blue Wellness provides the spa, with a hydrotherapy pool, sauna, steam facilities and a treatment list. Parking is on site and free, which is genuinely unusual in Liverpool and worth factoring into the comparison with city-centre rates.
The trade-off is the location. Stanley Dock is around a mile north of the Pier Head, a fifteen to twenty minute walk into the centre along a dock road that is atmospheric by day and bleak after dark, so most guests take a taxi back in the evening. Everton's stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock is close by, which fills the hotel on match days. It suits couples, spa guests and anyone who wants space and a striking building rather than a doorstep position in the middle of town.

What guests say
We stayed at this hotel for one night before our ferry to Belfast and was desperate to review it. Firstly, the communal areas were beautiful, extremely spacious, clean and tidy. The bar was well stocked and the outdoor terrace, overlooking the Stanley Dock was a lovely place to sit on a warm day. Our room was amazing. Absolutely huge, beautifully decorated and well equipped. I jave honestly never seen a bathroom so big. Everything was clean and well presented. The only slight negative was the fact that we ran out of coffee and milk. I went to reception for more and was told that the lady didn't know how long it would take as we would have to wait for housekeeping. She then managed to find a couple of sachets of coffee and suggested I ask for milk in the restaurant. It was fine and easily sorted but I would have thought that these items would have been kept at the reception desk for late night or early morning requests. A particularly nice touch was the book on the coffee table, containing lots of beautiful photos of the Titanic Hotel and it's sister hotels, with locations, descriptions and details of locally sourced produce served in the restaurants. It stated that we were to feel free to take it home as a memento of our stay. On the whole, it was a fantastic stay at a terrific price. I would happily stay there again and would recommend it to anybody.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel, and it made my partner’s birthday truly unforgettable. The team went above and beyond to make our stay special. They kindly allowed us to check in earlier than the scheduled time, which gave us plenty of time to prepare for the birthday celebration. The room was beautifully prepared, and every detail made us feel so welcome. The service throughout our stay was exceptional. Every time we called reception or ordered something, it was delivered almost immediately. The staff were always friendly, professional, and eager to help. A special thank you to Maria from the reservations team (I hope I remembered her name correctly). She was incredibly helpful in arranging everything and made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Thanks to her and the rest of the team, we were able to enjoy the perfect birthday celebration. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Outstanding hospitality, exceptional service, and a team that genuinely cares about their guests. We will definitely be back!

Hotel lovely Sauna had a really strong urine smell in it No wet kit bags available, staff didn’t seem to communicate very well, after numerous calls and emails I finally got a booking, then staff at maya blue didn’t seem to know about it, as I was leaving the lady tried to charge me again. Restaurant Waiter Kartic was polite and helpful and attentive. Which was appreciated. Overall experience, very disappointing, as this was a gift from my son.
