What visitors say
I currently live nearby and walk here a few times a week during my lunch break. It’s such a nice walk at any time of day, it's peaceful, green, and full of wildlife in the water. The boats are beautiful, and there’s always something interesting to see. The other day there was even a floating bookshop with artwork and affordable books, which was cool to see. There are also cafes and places to stop for a bite, making it a perfect spot to relax and unwind!

Regent’s Canal is a real hidden gem and a great place to escape the chaos of central London for a quiet moment. The canal is peaceful in the early mornings and late evenings, it’s great to jog, walk dogs, and enjoy the calm atmosphere. It’s also great to see wildlife along the way - foxes wandering past, ducks and swans gliding through the water, and many different birds flying overhead - pigeons not so much. Granary Square and Camden for me are great stop-overs along the route. Both are exciting, convenient places to pause, grab something to eat and drink, shop, see whats on event wise, run through the fountains in Granary during the Summer and check in for the outdoor cinema or sit by the canal and watch the world go by for a while and have the occasional chat with people on their narrow boats. The only downside is that some stretches are pitch black at night, so adding more lamp posts would make evening walks feel a little safer and enjoyable.

We had a little time before our Eurostar journey and went to the canal area. I not sure if the 1000+ choreographed fountains were working correctly, or if the “show” was just much more calm than expected. We sat on the large steps by the canal to relax. The whole area was very pleasant. I would recommend a wonder
