What visitors say
Amazing family experience at Alexandra Palace! We had an absolutely wonderful time doing the Alexandra Palace roof climb as a family! The views of London from up there are breathtaking, but what truly made our visit special was the incredible staff. A huge thank you to Shane at reception for the warm welcome, smooth check-in, and setting such a positive tone for our adventure right from the start. And a special shout-out to Beren, our tour guide! Beren was fantastic - so knowledgeable, engaging, and attentive to everyone in the family, making sure we all felt safe and had fun throughout the excursion. It was an unforgettable experience, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting London! Just a small tip for future visitors: be very careful with any loose items, as they can easily blow away! The wind up there is quite strong, and my family learned this the hard way - one of our caps flew right off and is now staying at Alexandra Palace as a permanent souvenir.

Excellent experience summitting a part of London with an already majestic view from street level. Climbing is done in two stages: first is a stop at the first floor terrace where the big circular stained glass window is, and second stop is made up the external roof stairs and then right over to the summit. The higher you go, the more views unlock i.e. the BBC Tower, St. Paul's Cathedral, the London Eye, the towers at Crystal Palace and the extremely distant view of the wind turbines near Dartford become available to see. A friendly guide also comes along and informs where the geographical locations of the landmarks are, and also gives a history of the palace itself. Would definitely recommend, would want to do it again at twilight and at night.

Had a great time on the Summit tour of Alexandra Palace. Walking was straightforward with a mix of ages up to 70+ on our tour. Walking is only as hard as climbing stairs, and with lots of breaks, to look at the views and to get some facts about points of interest (Crystal Palace, Wembley Stadium, St Pauks, The Shard, etc, etc). Our guide Beren, was helpful and friendly, keeping us all safe. Highly recommended for the historic location and the stunning views of London.
