About Artist Residence London

Pimlico's quiet streets near Victoria are within easy reach of central London's stations and sights, and it's here on Cambridge Street that Artist Residence London makes its home. Behind the townhouse front is a small, characterful hotel with just 10 rooms, each kept comfortable and well-equipped, with touches like heated towel rails and generously stocked supplies.

Downstairs, the restaurant and bar are a draw in their own right, serving food that guests single out as a highlight alongside a solid drinks list, at prices that don't feel inflated. Breakfast is served on site, and there's a garden for quieter moments, plus a snack bar, air conditioning, meeting rooms, luggage storage and concierge assistance for anything else that's needed. Free WiFi covers the practical side of a stay.

A wonderful stay. This hotel has been awarded 1-Michelin Key, and it certainly lived up to my expectations. I had an excellent night’s sleep, and the room was comfortable and well maintained. I would have given it 4.5 stars because the air conditioning wasn’t quite cool enough during my stay, although that was probably due to the exceptional heatwave rather than the hotel itself. I’m happy to round it up to 5 stars because everything else was excellent. The staff were warm, friendly and thoughtful throughout my stay. Special thanks to the taller female receptionist who was on duty in the evening. She kindly helped me carry my backpack to my room and also there is a tall guy printed some important personal documents for me, which I really appreciated. Their kindness made settling in much easier after a long day. I also had an important 2-hour meeting the next day, and the restaurant staff helped me choose the lunch combo with just the right portion size (with an enjoyable cup of Coffee Latte). Everyone I met was welcoming and genuinely helpful. I would happily stay here again & recommend this lovely hotel.

No way to control temperature in the room. Shower water got just warm enough to shower but wouldn't get hot. The internet was almost non-functional. However, the whole place was wonderful. The staff was wonderful. The food was good. The art and stylings were great. Overall, I really liked it. Would stay again. Recommended.

I had a great stay at this hotel in Westminster. The area felt very safe, especially as a solo traveler, which was important to me. The hotel itself was clean, quiet, and well maintained, making it easy to relax after a busy day. The service was friendly and attentive, and I really appreciated having a restaurant downstairs, it was very convenient. My poach eggs was cooked to perfection .There are also many nice restaurants nearby, so there are plenty of dining options within walking distance. The location is excellent, close to a metro station, which made getting around the city very easy. Overall, it offers great value for the price. I would definitely stay here again! Highly recommended.

I hosted my 40th birthday party in the event space downstairs and it was absolutely perfect. The decor is incredibly cool, with loads of fun art and mismatched furniture, the staff were attentive, professional, helpful and kind, the food delicious (and plentiful!) and the drinks very high quality, at a good price. For a private party, the space is ideal as you can play your own music and they do a corkage and cakeage deal - so you can really personalise your party. There is a private bar in the space, too, with dedicated staff there to serve. I would highly recommend hosting a party here. Thank you! Lucy
