REVISION... Hotel management and staff have been lovely. They brought me a fan, gave me a full explanation of the AC situation and extended my stay at a significant discount. My understanding is that the hotel is looking into upgrading the entire AC system, so it's possible that it could be functioning better, in the future. For now, I stand by my summer ban. Spotlessly clean and very convenient to Paddington station, in a neighborhood with plenty of good restaurant options. Do not come here in the summer, if you're sensitive to the heat. The air-conditioning sucks, and the hotel knows it. Of course, all the websites and booking platforms simply just state that the hotel has air conditioning, but at check-in, they will let you know not to expect much.

The hotel is located in a very quiet neighborhood and is extremely close to Paddington Station, making it the perfect home base. It also looks newly renovated, and the rooms have a very modern feel. However, the rooms are exceptionally tight, especially the bathrooms. I have never seen rooms this small in Asia, let alone Europe, I assume it is just a standard London layout. On the bright side, the housekeeping is first class and well above expectations. The rooms clearly receive a deep clean between guests and thorough daily upkeep. The free coffee machine downstairs is also a great added plus. I stayed for seven nights, and the soundproofing was not ideal, which became more noticeable over a longer stay. I was placed on the second floor and could constantly hear banging and footsteps from the room above, as well as conversations from the room next door, making it quite difficult to sleep at night. Additionally, the AC stopped working properly during my last two nights, which coincided with London’s first heatwave. As for the staff, they were okay, not the most enthusiastic, but very neutral overall. If you can get a good deal, I highly recommend this hotel. However, I would not recommend it if there are other comparable name-brand hotels available for the same price.

Just returned from a brilliant stay at this hotel. Booked for myself and daughter to spend night after seeing Harry Styles at Wembley arena. Never stayed in this part of London before but we loved it. Nice hotel set in a quiet street and close to Paddington station. The hotel was very clean and our room was perfect for the two of us. We had continental breakfast included which had loads of options and very peaceful not the normal breakfast rush. We arrived early after travelling down from Newcastle on the train and wanted to leave our bags but we were able to check in to our room early which was a massive bonus. We got to see parts of London we’ve not explored before including Nottinghill and Little Venice as they were within walking distance. We will definitely return thank you for a lovely stay 😀

I stayed at this hotel during a business trip. The location is undoubtedly convenient, being within walking distance of Paddington Station and surrounded by numerous restaurants, cafés, and shops. However, the room itself was very disappointing. I stayed in a single room, which was extremely small. There was hardly enough space to open even a carry-on suitcase, and the bathroom was equally cramped. While the room did have air conditioning—a feature not always found in London hotels—that was about the only positive aspect of the accommodation. The most serious issue occurred during the night. Heavy rain started in the evening, and at around 4:00 a.m. I was woken by the sound of dripping water. When I checked the bathroom, I discovered a substantial amount of water leaking from the ceiling. I immediately contacted the front desk and was moved to another room. To be fair, Tony at reception handled the situation exceptionally well. He was polite, professional, and quick to assist. He explained that rainwater had entered the building due to the severe weather. The following morning, the manager also came to apologize personally and provided a further explanation, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the problems did not end there. The breakfast was underwhelming, with a very limited selection and little variety. Even more frustrating was what happened after I had moved to the new room. Despite displaying the “Do Not Disturb” sign and despite the official check-out time being 11:00 a.m., a housekeeper knocked loudly on my door at around 9:00 a.m. and repeatedly shouted, “Check out! Check out!” This was completely unacceptable and highly unprofessional. Being woken up in the middle of the night by a major water leak was bad enough. Being disturbed again a few hours later and effectively pressured to leave the room well before check-out only added to the frustration. While some staff members made genuine efforts to resolve the situation, the overall experience fell well below expectations and was not what I would expect from a hotel at this price point.
