About CitySpace Borough
Just 21 rooms make up CitySpace Borough, a compact hotel on Borough High Street within easy reach of Borough Market and the South Bank. Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, comfortable beds and drinks on hand, plus family rooms for those travelling with children. Air conditioning is fitted, though some rooms can still feel warm, so it's worth bearing in mind in the summer months. A restaurant and snack bar cover breakfast and casual meals on site, with room service and a laundry service adding convenience, and meeting rooms available for anyone mixing business with the stay.

Stayed here for work for two nights. Location perfect for what I needed, however the rooms do not match the pictures on their website at all. Well not my room anyway. Walls filthy, carpet worn and dirty, wall plugs visible on every wall. Extension leads. Smallest Tv in any room I’ve seen. Just didn’t match expectation. I was allocated a room on the 3rd floor. Be aware no lift and narrow, steep stairs. This was booked for me and was difficult after knee surgery. I contacted reception about moving to a room on a lower floor and they were most helpful and quick to respond. Which was great for an unmanned location.

They double booked me last month cancelled the day before. I asked if they could at a minimum hold out bags for the day while we arrange alternative accommodation and the man rudely brushed us off.DONT BOOK HERE

Very close to the tube station which is good. In quite a nice area. The shat d bathrooms were clean and never had to queue. The noise from the street was quite bad though- even with ear plugs. The price is pretty good though.

For London prices, this place isn’t bad value for money. A few things to keep in mind: the hotel has three floors and no elevator, which is clearly stated, but the stairs are extremely narrow—I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re carrying large suitcases. Also, the walls are quite thin, so you might unintentionally become a spectator to your neighbours’ activities. On the positive side, the shared bathrooms were very clean and spacious, and the room itself was surprisingly roomy for the price. The location is excellent—literally right next to the metro entrance and within walking distance of Borough Market. If you’re travelling light and looking for a budget-friendly stay in this area, it’s not a bad choice.
