About Premier Inn London Southwark Borough High St

Southwark's stretch near London Bridge and Borough Market is one of the capital's busiest food and sightseeing corners, and Premier Inn London Southwark Borough High St puts guests right in the middle of it on Borough High Street. The hotel has 99 en-suite rooms across six floors, each with air conditioning and a lift for easy access, plus accessible rooms available for those who need them.

Rooms come with drinks available on request, and the on-site restaurant and bar cover breakfast and evening meals without needing to step outside, though there's no shortage of pubs, restaurants and other eateries nearby for those who want to explore. Reception operates around the clock, which suits both early sightseeing starts and late arrivals. Parking isn't on site but chargeable options are available nearby.

The rooms are generally kept quiet, which makes for a restful night given the busy location, and breakfast is a consistent strong point. Some rooms have been reported as showing wear, so it's worth setting expectations accordingly. For the location alone - within easy reach of London Bridge and Borough Market - it remains a practical, well-placed base for a London stay.

Our family of 4 stayed at Premier Inn for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The rooms were very clean and very quiet (double-glazed windows and blockout curtains) and the rooms have aircon. The buffet breakfast is excellent and looks exactly like the posters displayed in the hotel. The location is great only being just over a block from London Bridge underground/station and within walking distance of many attractions.

Great hotel, near to London Bridge. Borough Market was a real treat to walk around. We had great views across the city and was right next to the Shard. The only downside was maybe a lack of maintainence in the room as per the attached pictures (room 304) and the external windows could do with a clean. Other than that, great friendly staff and nice hot breakfast well stocked. Nice stay.

I don't usually feel the need to leave reviews as most hotel experiences are reasonably generic. However, from the moment we checked in, to the time we left, the staff were all incredibly friendly and seemed genuinely happy to see and talk to you. Unfortunately I didn't take any names, but upon returning to the hotel in the late evening the staff would come from behind their desk to welcome you back or approach from wherever they were situated which to me was an incredible personal touch. The rooms were as you would expect, and very clean, and the hotel is situated just a few minutes walk from London Bridge tube station. We will definitely be choosing this hotel again, the next time we are in London

You kinda know why you’re going to get in a Premier Inn. A bit like the EasyJet of hospitality. Bed is as always comfortable. The Plus room is a good size. The shower pressure was disappointing in this place and it lacked the hand held shower head which is normally in most places. Apart from checking in I dint see the staff. They don’t service the room unless you ask for it - cutting back on what makes a hotel different from an Airbnb seems counter productive but that’s what it is. Having a fridge and coffee machine in the room was nice. I was able to work a little as well although the desk is a bit shot. Great location for central London and 6 min walk from London Bridge station. With Borough market over the road it’s a good place to hang out for a couple of days.
