About Duke Of Leinster Hotel

Leinster Gardens sits in the heart of Bayswater, a quiet residential stretch of Greater London within easy reach of London Paddington, and it's here that the Duke Of Leinster Hotel makes its home. The surrounding streets are lined with the tall stucco-fronted terraces typical of this part of west London, with pubs, restaurants and other eateries within walking distance for evenings out.

The hotel has 36 rooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, and guests have access to a lift, free WiFi, room service and drinks in the room. Practical extras include luggage storage, laundry service, porter and concierge assistance, and business services for those travelling for work. Breakfast is served each morning and is consistently one of the better-regarded parts of a stay, offering good value alongside reasonably priced options. Staff are helpful and professional, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere throughout. It's worth noting that some rooms are located in the cellar and can be less well maintained, so it's worth asking about room location when booking.

There is no parking available at the property, so those without a car will find the location convenient given its proximity to Paddington station. For entertainment, the nearby pubs and restaurants make for an easy evening without needing to travel far.

Brilliant hotel for the price. Very clean, friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable beds and showers with hot water, quiet area. Air conditioning too, which was great during the heatwave. Great location for Hyde Park, Soho and Paddington station, not to mention the many underground stations close by. Will definitely be staying again.

Due to the summer season, we had to book well in advance. I booked in April, and there weren't many good-priced options available anymore. I confess that when I chose the Duke of Leinster, I was apprehensive because it was rated 3 stars. But the hotel far exceeded my expectations. There were four of us, and although the room wasn't large, it accommodated us very satisfactorily. We had an initial problem with the shower water temperature, which was promptly resolved. The hotel offered daily room cleaning, and while the breakfast didn't have many options, it perfectly met our needs. I'd say it's a convenience that greatly helps with daily planning. The hotel's location couldn't be better – a very safe area, with several food options nearby and easy access to transportation. We had an initial administrative issue because I paid for the stay with a debit card instead of a credit card, but this was also promptly resolved by the management staff. I will definitely stay at the Duke of Leinster again whenever I need to return to London.

Had a very comfortable stay here. The rooms were clean and well maintained, and the hospitality was great. The staff was courteous and always helpful, which made the experience even better. The location is excellent — there are 3–4 underground stations within a 7–8 minute walk, making it very convenient to get around. There are also plenty of good restaurants and stores nearby, and the area itself is very peaceful. One small suggestion would be to make drinking water more easily accessible for guests. Other than that, it was a great stay and I would definitely recommend this place.

Every employee at the reception went above and beyond to give us really good customer service. I found the toilets/bathrooms to be very clean, great, and they contain all the necessities like shower gel, etc. The rooms are very clean too, and have a nice view outside as well. I would happily come here again. It’s very worth it.
