About easyHotel London City Shoreditch

Rooms starting at £29 a night set the tone at easyHotel London City Shoreditch, a no-frills base on Old St with 92 rooms designed for travellers who want a clean bed and a good location without paying for extras. Rooms are compact - some are genuinely tight on space - but each has an en-suite bathroom and air conditioning, and the building has a lift and accessible rooms for those who need them.

There's a 24 hour reception for late arrivals or early starts, along with luggage storage for guests wanting to explore before checking in or after checking out. Staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful, which counts for a lot at this price point. Pets are welcome too, a rarity among budget city hotels.

The setting is hard to beat for transport and things to do: Old Street and Liverpool Street Station are both close by, and the surrounding streets are dense with pubs, restaurants and evening entertainment. It's a straightforward, well-run option for anyone prioritising location and value over space.

I had a great stay at EasyHotel London Shoreditch. The rooms are small, but they are clean and well-maintained, which is exactly what I expected for the price. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made the experience even better. They even gave me their own chair so I could use it in the room. Check-in and check-out were incredibly fast, taking less than a minute each. The location is very convenient, with the nearest metro station only about a 5-minute walk away, and an Aldi supermarket right across the street. Overall, you get exactly what you pay for: a clean, comfortable, and well-located budget hotel with excellent service. I would definitely consider staying here again.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, and everything felt clean, modern, and well-maintained. The staff was pleasant, and it’s clear the property has been updated recently. Unfortunately, the room size significantly impacted the overall experience. While I expected a compact city hotel room, this was beyond small. There was barely enough space to open a suitcase, let alone move around comfortably. At times it felt more like staying in a closet than a hotel room. Despite the cleanliness and newer furnishings, the lack of usable space made the stay feel cramped and uncomfortable. If location and a clean place to sleep are your top priorities, this hotel may work for you. However, travelers with luggage or anyone planning to spend more than minimal time in the room should be aware of just how limited the space is.

Good hotel if you do not expect too much. Price is fair (probably even cheap if you compare it to other hotels in the area) and the location is well connected with two underground stops just about 10 minutes away by foot each. The rooms are small and don't offer much space, but if you are mainly looking for a place to sleep whilst not spending too much money on the accomodation, this is the place to go. Staff is friendly and everything is clean and well maintained. I am happy with what we got for the price we paid.

Yes London hotel rooms tend to be small. This was really really small. Like as in 8 inches room between the end of the bed and the wall. Bed sandwiched against one side wall and the other side had perhaps one meter. Bathroom similarly small. Room was clean and in good condition. Front desk staff and service staff were pleasant.
