About Eden Plaza Kensington

A stylish lounge bar and restaurant give Eden Plaza Kensington a sociable feel, with breakfast served each morning and drinks available in-room for guests who prefer to unwind upstairs. The hotel occupies a period building on Queens Gate, in the heart of Kensington, with the Underground close by for reaching central London.

The 80 rooms are simply furnished and on the compact side, each with an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning and free WiFi. Practical extras include a lift, luggage storage, laundry service and business facilities, along with cycle storage and concierge help for planning days out. Parking is available nearby for a fee.

Kensington's museums and Hyde Park are within easy reach, and the surrounding streets offer plenty of pubs, restaurants and other places to eat nearby. It suits travellers who want a casual, well-placed base rather than a lot of space in the room.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Great location near the museums and tube stations. Room was small but not that small. Wide single bed was quite enough for me and my wife. Breakfast was simple but I appreciate the possibility to have it at the hotel anyway. Very clean and tidy place.

Very nice location and the room I stayed in was more than adequate. It lacked a kitchen however, which was a downside. It makes sense as it's not an apartment. It is close to several museums including the science museum, my personal favourite. For cleaning oneself a shower and complimentary shower gels. The cleaning staff are friendly, as a bonus.

Lovely hotel. Staff very friendly. The rooms are very small. Cleanliness was outstanding. Situated opposite the natural history museum. Close to shops and the tube. The walls were very thin. Could hear conversations of your neighbours. We didn't have breakfast as it was an extra £10 for a continental breakfast. But that would be standard for London. Plenty of places too eat nearby. Ideal for a couple of nights. Would return.

missing 1 * because of being kept awake by family at 2 am until 4 am. Wasn't a big deal but lost 1 star not keeping business guests ( who get up very early) from holiday or other guests. Otherwise this is a splendid hotel with brilliant staff. The room is immaculate , the area is ideal. In 18 years working around the globe and living in 100s of hotels, I can honestly say I have never had such a bargain for the price I paid. I was due to move last week but have extended to stay as long as possible. Great hotel, and very well run.
