About Garden Court Hotel

Kensington Gardens Square puts Garden Court Hotel close to some of London's best-known sights, with plenty of pubs and restaurants dotted around the surrounding streets for evenings out without much travelling. It's the kind of spot that suits guests keen to explore the capital on foot, with entertainment and eateries nearby making it easy to fill spare hours.

The hotel itself occupies a Victorian building and offers 40 rooms, kept simple and comfortable rather than extravagant. Complimentary breakfast and free Wi-Fi are included, and facilities extend to a restaurant, bar, indoor swimming pool, spa and sauna, plus a garden for quieter moments. A lift, porter and concierge services, business facilities and luggage storage round out the practical side, and the hotel can also host weddings.

Free on-site parking is a useful bonus for a central London property, along with airport transfer options for those arriving from further afield. It's a straightforward base for a city stay, with the square itself offering a patch of green amid the surrounding streets.

Even though there is a receptionist on site, you had to check in online and enter a lot of data on your mobile phone. The rooms were relatively clean, but they were already quite worn out. The elevator was rattling and rattling. The breakfast was terrible, there was little choice, and even the quality was poor. The positives are the location, the surroundings and the good water pressure.

An absolutley appalling place. Please please please avoid this place like the plague. Positive notes - the elderly lady in the breakfast room was the friendliest member of staff on site. Negative notes - rooms were disgusting mould everywhere in the bathroom. Carpets full of stains. BED HAD BLONDE HAIRS on it 🤢🤢🤢. The bedding had a hole in it.the amount of dust in the room was astonishing(see picture). The breakfast was a real let down.Yoghurts that were out of date being served. (MASSIVE DANGER OF FOOD POISONING) PASTERIES WERE STALE. OVERALL QUALITY WAS REALLY LOW. The service from crinella/cruella was disgusting. when i went to voice my concerns to her at receprion sh3 was very rude and abrupt. She kept on dismissing my concerns. SHE NEEDS TO LEARN how to give good customer service. With someone like her i can see others not wanting to ever return. When i told her about the cleanliness of the room all she could say was the cook and cleaner is the same person and that she worked very hard.clearly not as the state of the room was disgusting. I will not be returning and I WOULD WELCOME THE MANAGER TO CONTACT ME SIREXTLY TO DISCUSS THIS COMPLAINT FURTHER.

Had a wonderful stay, the room and bed are a perfect size. The restroom was small bit but nothing to ruin the review, its just a heads up.

Probably the best value for money in London. The location is excellent, the rooms relatively big and super clean. Only the bathroom is small. But perfectly adequate for a few days. The price was unbeatable. You rarely see that in London.
