About The Royale Chulan Hyde Park Hotel

Leinster Square, tucked close to Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, is where you'll find The Royale Chulan Hyde Park Hotel, an adults-only base for exploring central London. The building offers a straightforward mix of comfort and convenience rather than flashy extras, with a lift for easy access and staff on hand at the concierge desk to help with plans and questions.

Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, drinks available to enjoy in-room, and the option of room service for those who'd rather not head out. Beds are a particular strength here, and breakfast is included to start the day properly. That said, some rooms show their age and ventilation can be an issue, so it's worth bearing in mind if a cool, fresh room matters to you. Free WiFi is available throughout, and luggage storage makes early arrivals or late departures easier to manage.

Outside the hotel, Leinster Square puts guests within easy reach of restaurants, pubs, bars and shops, with plenty of options for evening entertainment nearby too. It's a practical spot for those who want to be close to Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens without paying for excess polish, and staff are consistently noted for being friendly and ready to help.

After an Airbnb reservation went terribly wrong, I ended up staying at the Royale Chulan. Before making my mind, I visited the hotel and was welcomed by the lovely receptionist Aster, who was very kind and patient, and helped me pick the room that would best suit me. Aster is great and so are all the other receptionists, always there to help. Reception is open 24 hours too which is great. The hotel has an elevator which is a huge plus in London and a little self contained kitchen another great asset. Small fridge which helps to get breakfast going in the morning, kattle, etc. The bed is very comfortable and the cleaning staff are fantastic. It made all the difference to come back to a clean room every day of my 7-day stay. The staff is very pro active in resolving any issues. The burner in my room stopped working and they provided me with an alternative one and let me use their microwave so I could eat before heading to the theatre! Always thoughtful and quick to answer any questions. The staff is gold, truly. I loved waking up to the sound of birds, the location is excellent, I can't thank the staff enough and I will be back.

Clean room with a pretty view if your interested. Slightly in the smaller size but it had everything you will need. Bathroom was clean but did have a mild odd smell. Only thing would be if your a larger person you find the shower a tight squeeze. Staff were incredibly nice and helpful Location is amazing. If your intention is to be out during the day and back for sleep this place is perfect.

We did a 24h stay at this hotel and some of the benefits was that there was secure parking on-site. Large bedroom/bedsit type accomodation which had all the amneties such as small cooker, kettle, fridge, storage cabinet, bedside table, Large bed with a Tv but unfortunately no remote control. Bathroom was very tiny with a narrow shower cubicle, a nice sized sink and a toilet. Large wooden bay windows with a cool and calm view. Funky smell throughout the hallways. Very noisy floor boards and very loud in the hallways from 6am upto 10am but apart from that a cheap london place to sleep, and store belongings with a late checkout (midday checkout).

The room was small, but cosy. It offered the cooking station, but no cooking utensils, and we could not figure out how to even operate it. It did not bother us, because we were set on dining outside, but it can be troublesome for others. The best feature is that whole booking, you can pick the room on the first floor, but mind you still have to climb a few steps into the hotel entrance. It was a very clean, warm, cosy and the water pressure/temperature was divine. The 24/7 desk staff at your service and everyday room cleaning service was great. Localisation is great, if you don't mind a bit of walking. Plenty of local restaurants and shops nearby.
