About Grange Beauchamp

Covent Garden's theatres and markets are an easy walk from Grange Beauchamp, and Tottenham Court Road station puts the rest of London within quick reach, making this Bedford Place hotel a practical base for a stay built around sightseeing and shows. The surrounding streets also offer plenty of pubs, restaurants and evening entertainment for those who'd rather explore on foot.

The hotel has 47 rooms, generally well-sized and kept comfortable with kettles and toiletries provided, though some rooms have been reported as less well maintained than others, so it's worth flagging any issues on arrival. Staff are typically friendly and helpful, even if service can vary from visit to visit. Guests have access to a restaurant and bar on-site, along with breakfast, a gym, spa and sauna, and an indoor swimming pool.

Beyond the leisure facilities, Grange Beauchamp caters to business travellers and events too, with meeting rooms, business services and a wedding venue on offer, plus concierge and porter services, free on-site parking and an electric vehicle charge point. A garden and free WiFi round out a set-up geared towards both quick city breaks and longer, more organised stays.

It was fine. Rooms are a decent size, staff and friendly, AC seems to sort of work? (I give it 6.5/10). Quiet location and no noise from other guests or outside. Hand a good night sleep - pillows are especially comfy and the bed was 6/10. Shower was easy to use, and there were 2 plug sockets. Things that could be better: Furniture is a bit "worse for wear" - walls and carpets quite badly marked too. The fascia of the electronic lock to my room was missing, leaving 2 batteries exposed to the outside corridor which was a little concerning. WiFi is painfully slow, Hairdryer which was distinctly "retro". Room smelled a bit foosty and left a bit of a taste in the back of my throat for a short while. Other than that it was fine. Would stay again if I had to.

Reading the other reviews I think you have to understand this hotel in terms of budget. I paid approx. £90 for a double room during the week. Given the location, that is exceptional. The room was clean, tidy, comfortable and with a nice bathroom, plenty of toiletries, and a kettle with decent tea and coffee choice. Okay, the coffee wasn't great, but it's 90 quid! I've stayed in places three times this amount and been far more disappointed, trust me! The pillows weren't perfect, the bath had a full length screen that wasn't very pretty and yes, the decor was slightly tired. It's 90 quid!!!! I only wish my wife and I had stayed here instead of Page 8, which cost nearly 300 a night and didn't even have wine glasses!! If you take it as a reasonably priced budget hotel with friendly polite staff, and in a great location, you'll love it.

Booked through booking.com Booked the superior double. Size of room was really nice. View from window was a garden view, so nice. Very quiet. And looking out at the BT tower. Bed we found comfortable, however pillows a little hard. Room was far too hot, so turned off all heating and managed to open windows to let air in. Only 3 plug sockets in the room that were not used. So when sharing with a teenager..... Bath very slim, my daughter and I are not big. Room felt tired. Could do with a little tlc spent on it. Staff were very nice. Did not eat at the restaurant. Location was good. Would recommend.

The rooms are a good size with all the amenities. Toiletries, tea and coffee. Hairdryer and trousers press. Comfy bed with clean bedding. However the rooms are a little tired and need updating. We didn’t eat at the hotel as the breakfast was too expensive. Disappointing that when we checked out we were informed that if we left our luggage at the hotel past 4pm then we would be charged £25 per hour per bag. This is not detailed in the website.
