What guests say
I had a wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Express London – Limehouse. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a convenient location. Throughout our stay, the staff went above and beyond to help us with every request. Their professionalism, friendliness, and willingness to assist made a real difference to our experience. I would especially like to thank the following members of staff for their outstanding service: * Danny * Abdel * Diana * Hajini They were incredibly kind, patient, and always happy to help. Nothing was too much trouble, and they made both our group and I feel genuinely welcome. Their excellent customer service deserves to be recognised. Thank you all for making our stay such an enjoyable one. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London, and I look forward to staying here again in the future.

We've had a very pleasent stay in this hotel. We arrived a bit too early which was no problem, the staff took care of our luggage so that we could come back once the rooms were ready. The rooms were in mint condition, clean and well equipped. Room service as well as breakfast were amazing, too. There is a 10minute walk to the next trainstation from which you can get anywhere you like. City center is about a 15min ride. Definitely come here while in London if you want a quiet place to stay during the nights. I could not hear a single thing at night.

This Holiday Inn Express is located in Limehouse and just a 5 minute walk from the DLR, local shops, the Thames Footpath, Regents Canal and Limehouse Cut. It does have a small carpark to the front of the hotel but The Highway is a very busy road requiring confident driving so I would advise public transport rather than arriving by car. The room was large, clean and had a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was spacious and modern with an eco shower and soft, fluffy white towels. A buffet style breakfast was included in the room cost- hot food such as sausage, bacon , eggs etc, variety of bread, cereal, muffins and lots of fresh fruit. I asked for gluten free toast and this was prepared in a separate area and brought out to me. Staff were welcoming and professional. As a solo traveller I felt safe at all times, both in the hotel and the surrounding area. This was a great base for travelling into central London but also Canary Wharf, Queen Elizabeth Park and lots of other areas. Recommended!

1) Reception at this Holiday Inn Express was unwelcoming and unprofessional and failed at its basic role. Staff member Albert , refused to believe we had a confirmed booking, even after I showed him the booking.com app, and left me scrambling late Saturday to find alternative accommodation for my elderly and child family members visiting from abroad. Albert treated us unsympathetically . With few options and stressed out, I paid online for £400 for a nonrefundable room elsewhere. Another staff member Abdel later confirmed we DID in fact have a confirmed booking at this Holiday Inn Express, one that I'd made and had confirmed several weeks ago. He wasn't sympathetic or apologetic either but at least he correctly found our booking 2) I'd booked a twin room for my relatives, but only a double was available — again, no apology or sympathy from staff. 3) None of the power sockets worked, leaving my relatives unable to charge their phones — vital for staying in touch with me. I had to take an emergency Uber to the hotel late at night to provide my relatives with power banks. We talked to the receptions staff that night and the next day about this power problem and they promised to have it fixed quickly but it never happened - no repair person was sent. 4) The breakfast buffet was bad. I joined my relatives once, had to pay £25 — a rip-off for the quality.
