About Home House - Private Members Club

Marylebone puts Home House - Private Members Club within easy walking distance of London's main shopping stretches and the area's cultural draws, making it a handy base for a day spent browsing shops or galleries before returning somewhere quieter for the evening. Pubs, bars and restaurants nearby mean there's no need to travel far for an evening out either.

The hotel itself occupies a townhouse setting with an emphasis on comfortable, well-kept rooms finished with attention to decor, each with an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning and free WiFi. Family rooms are available, and extras like room service, drinks in room and laundry service are on hand for those who want to settle in properly. A garden with outdoor seating offers a spot to sit outside despite the central location.

Guests eat well here, with a restaurant and bar on site serving food and a good range of teas alongside breakfast service, and kids' meals are available too. There's a gym and a spa with sauna for downtime, plus meeting rooms and business services for anyone mixing work with the stay. Staff are attentive and the overall feel is welcoming rather than formal. Parking is chargeable and located nearby rather than on site, worth factoring in if arriving by car.

Home House is truly a one-of-a-kind experience. My cousins, who are local to London and members, brought us along, and it felt like being welcomed into a beautifully kept secret. From the impeccable service to the understated luxury, everything about Home House feels exclusive without being pretentious. It’s not just a private members’ club — it’s an experience that makes you appreciate London’s timeless sophistication. Unforgettable, and deeply impressive.

The last time I was at Home House club was for an art gallery party, my return visit was for an overnight stay. On arrival I was warmly greeted by staff and was informed of a room upgrade with a complimetary glass of champagne. My room called the Terrace Room was large with as expected an outside terrace area which on a warmer day would be a wonderful place to eat breakfast. The bed was very comfortable and the marble bathroom areas very clean and attractive with Penhaligons bathing products. A friend of mine joined me for dinner in the main restaurant, my beef fillet was delicious! We both agreed our meals were superb. I love art and architecture and Home House is a masterpiece designed by Robert Adam, it is impossible not to be impressed by the building and the Club & Hotel. I highly recommend!

I’ve photographed a wedding at Home House, and it’s been an absolute pleasure to work there. The building itself is full of character and elegance, with beautifully layered interiors that feel intimate yet grand at the same time. From a photographer’s perspective, the light throughout the rooms is wonderful, and the variety of spaces allows for a really natural flow to the day — from ceremonies to drinks and evening celebrations. The atmosphere feels refined but relaxed, which translates beautifully in photographs. The staff are professional, welcoming, and very experienced with weddings, which makes everything run smoothly and allows couples (and suppliers) to focus on the celebration itself. Every wedding I’ve photographed here has felt unique while still benefiting from the timeless backdrop the venue provides. A fantastic choice for couples looking for a stylish London venue with character, warmth, and a truly special feel.
