About Hyatt Regency London The Churchill

With 440 rooms, Hyatt Regency London The Churchill is one of the larger hotels in this part of the city, set on Portman Square in Greater London. It's built for guests who want comfort without fuss: rooms come with air conditioning, en-suite bathrooms and free WiFi, and accessible rooms are available for those who need them.

The on-site restaurant and bar cover breakfast through to evening dining, with in-room dining also on offer for anyone who'd rather stay in. Beds are noted for being particularly comfortable, and the breakfast buffet is a regular highlight for guests staying multiple nights. Beyond the rooms, the hotel has a gym, a garden, meeting rooms and business services, plus concierge and laundry services, making it as suited to work trips as to leisure stays. There's also a wedding venue on site for those planning an event.

Staff are consistently described as attentive and professional, which counts for a lot in a hotel this size. The location puts guests within reach of London's shopping, dining and entertainment, with pubs, restaurants and eateries nearby, and airport transfers can be arranged directly through the property.

We stayed at Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill for a week, and I have to say that the hotel, its location, and most importantly the staff all go hand in hand in creating a fantastic guest experience. From the moment we checked in, everything was smooth, professional, and welcoming. The hotel is beautifully maintained, the location is excellent, and the service throughout our stay was consistently outstanding. A very special mention goes to the breakfast team, especially Luna at the hostess desk and Krishna, who was managing the breakfast service. Along with the rest of the team, they made every morning a pleasure. We unfortunately didn’t catch everyone’s names, but Luna and Krishna truly stood out. They were always smiling, incredibly attentive, remembered our preferences, and never made any request feel like an inconvenience. The only observation I would make has nothing to do with the hotel itself. During our stay, we noticed that some guests were not always considerate of those around them and did not always follow basic etiquette in shared spaces. Despite this, the hotel team maintained a warm, welcoming atmosphere throughout our stay. Overall, this was an outstanding experience. It is clear that Hyatt puts a great deal of effort into both its property and, more importantly, its people. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London.

I live locally and have been coming to the Spencer Suite to watch the World Cup matches because the atmosphere is simply fantastic! The venue itself is excellent, with several large screens, a great ambiance, and the perfect setting to enjoy the games. However, what truly keeps us coming back is the outstanding service. A special thank you to Giorgio, who is an absolute delight. He always welcomes us with a big smile, makes sure we're well looked after, finds us a great table, and regularly checks in to ensure we have everything we need. Jerónimo also deserves a special mention—he is always so kind, friendly, and attentive! The level of hospitality is genuinely five-star, and every visit has been a wonderful experience. My family and friends always look forward to coming here, and we can't wait to be back this Sunday for the big final! Thank you, Giorgio & Jerónimo for taking such great care of us. We couldn't recommend the Spence Suite highly enough!

Exceptional service when we needed it the most! We arrived at the hotel after midnight, completely exhausted after a stressful travel night. From the moment we walked in, Rosalia went completely out of her way to look after us. She was incredibly kind, patient and accommodating. She took the opportunity to transform our evening to a very positive and pleasant experience at the Hyatt Regency London- The Churchill. We are so grateful for her wonderful hospitality. Also, Shoaib was great and so helpful. All the staff have been wonderful in ensuring that we have the best stay! We had the best experience!

We had a fantastic stay at the Hyatt Regency London - The Churchill. The hotel is beautifully updated, perfectly located, and run by an incredibly attentive and helpful team. The front desk went out of their way to understand and accommodate our room preferences based on availability, which we greatly appreciated. Our Executive King room was a highlight, the bed felt extra wide compared to a standard king, the pillows and mattress were exceptionally comfortable, and the robes in the room were super soft. Thanks to the high-quality, double-paned windows, all street noise was blocked out, and we all slept incredibly well. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting London!
