Horizons Accommodation

Stayed here a couple of weeks, really enjoyed my time. it's a really good price, you get a single room with a private bathroom, in a decent,quiet neighbourhood, there's a store nearby to get essentials, a couple of restaurants and it's an easy distance from the underground or bus stop. the place has a self-catered kitchen and you're welcome to use their facilities such as the gym and pool. only complaint I had was that the kitchen closed too early,at 9pm, and rooms have no kettle for late-night tea, but I got a thermos to fill up and take to my room and problem solved.

Superb. Never need to use the shower in the room as I used the swimming pool every day so used the ones downstairs instead. Will be honest room felt a bit prison like in the sense that it was basic very small with little in it. However I didn’t ever need to spend time in the room except sleep and change… so perfect in my eyes. The staff are always helpful, from what I could tell they were upgrading stuff whilst I was there so making more and more improvements. Would go back again

Location rather close to the City Centre (less than 10 min by underground), the lady at the reception desk was quite nice. The accommodation, however, did not have anything to do with what was shown on the Horizons' website - it was in a separate obviously re-purposed building in the backstreet, the room was very basic, the fidge did not work, we haven't even tried the hot plate, the cover of the bathroom lamp was just lying on the side, the blinds were literally falling apart, everything looked like it had been put together in a hurry and was rather worn off. The beds were very basic bunk beds, also sort of hand-made, but the matresses and the pillows were rather comfortable. The beds were up at a sort of half-floor which could be accessed only through a ladder (not stairs). Shower cabin - separate from the bathroom, right next to the beds 'upstairs', shower drain - clogged. In general it was not too bad, but if you'd like a room to comfortably rest after a long day crossing London, this is deffinitely not the place.

This hotel is the worst hotel I have stayed in so far, the rooms were dirty, there is no kettle or cups or anything for your personal comfort whatsoever, there is only 1 pillow per two beds, no option for double bed, reception is not avaialble 24h, I hadto wait 1 whole day off my stay to know what the wi-fi password was, there is no towels, the shower head is fixed and the water is no adjustable, the water is so hot you won't even care the sauna is closed ! I feel like I have completely wasted my money here
