What visitors say
This place is actually disgusting. I have never ever been in any public place, as a paying member that is as disgusting as this gym. The toilets smell, and quite literally appear like they have never been cleaned. I won’t add too much more, as I think the photos speak for themselves. I know numerous people that have become quite unwell recently, and I’m starting to wonder whether it’s the use of the pool. How can members know the pool is clean, when staff actively walk past this absolute mess?

The cleanliness of the pool facilities is so poor I'm considering taking my kid out of swimming lessons. The change rooms have been a disaster for far too long, nothing seems to be happening to fix them. Just lots of signs falsely proclaiming that hygiene and cleaning are a top priority (clearly a lie). The centre shut for 3 days a couple of weeks ago for the installation of a new "energy system" for improved hot water etc. Nobody took that opportunity to deep clean. There are showers, toilets, urinals and lockers broken everywhere. The floors are disgusting to walk on. I'm certain the plastic disposable blue shoe coverings are not there to protect the pool area, but to stop our shoes from being ruined from the grime! The place stinks and is utterly disgusting. Management need to do something about this as it effectively needs to be shut down and condemned in its current state. Oh the booking system and website are useless too. Can't do anything unless you basically go into reception and talk to a human. Sessions booked online sometimes don't even exist in reality. So good luck!

The soft play is really big and fun for the kids. We have also done bowling and karaoke - great fun too. It's great to see these new activities becoming available. The minigolf over at Ferndale also brilliant. The thing we don't use is the pool because the kids pool is sometimes very cold

A bit pricey compared to other leisure centre, soft play. But it's worth it, as there is so much for the children to do. It's very big and there are many areas for different age groups. From my only grip with soft players is, are they hygienic? Are they cleaned regularly as both my grandchildren picked up a little bug. I go back again yeah yes. The shop to buy teas and coffees is reasonable priced, make sure you bring a card. You can pay in advance or on the day. I found it was 2 pounds cheaper. When I paid on a day.
