About Huttons Hotel

Huttons Hotel occupies a stretch of townhouses at 53-57 Belgrave Road, one of those tall terraced buildings typical of this part of London, now converted into a 57-room hotel. The setting is distinctly central, with London Victoria close by, making it a practical base for getting around the capital.

Rooms come with air conditioning, free WiFi and drinks available in-room, though some are on the compact side and can show their age rather than feeling freshly kept. Downstairs there's a restaurant and bar, a lift for easier access, an indoor swimming pool, and a garden for guests wanting a quieter spot. Breakfast is a particular strength here, and the staff are consistently noted as helpful and welcoming. The hotel also has meeting rooms and can host weddings, alongside concierge services and luggage storage for those passing through.

Free on-site parking is available, a useful bonus for a central London property, and there are pubs, restaurants and other entertainment nearby for evenings out. It suits guests who prioritise location and a good breakfast over spacious, polished rooms.

Hotel is located in very good street. I could arrive easily wherever I wanted to go. In addition to, breakfast was super delicious. I don't eat sugar normally but I ate whole things in there :)) One more thing, what's better than breakfast is the team. Thanks to employees in the front desk, especially to kitchen. Rajesh and Amy and others...

The only good thing about this hotel is its location. It’s close to the train station and public transport, and many places of interest are within easy walking distance. The rooms are tiny; there’s hardly any space to put your bags away (in fact, you have to keep moving them out of the way just to get past). In our room, there wasn’t even a wardrobe (however small) to store our clothes. The floor of the room was sticky. The bathroom washbasin was so small that it was difficult to wash your face. The same goes for the shower: tiny and in poor condition. The mattress was in poor condition. Worst of all: the room was unbearably hot – it was only bearable with two fans switched on. The problem is that it’s hard to sleep with two fans on, and it’s also hard to sleep without them, because the temperature is unbearable. There was a lot of noise from other guests next door and upstairs. The breakfast was poor and almost all the items were packaged; even the fruit was tinned. Not a hotel to go back to.

This is a really difficult review to write! I will start with the good points, the hotel front desk and kitchen team were brilliant. We had nothing but positive interactions with both. Santosh, Omar and Hadje were absolutely lovely and went above and beyond. The other front desk and kitchen team were lovely but I'm sorry I can't remember their names! This place would be nothing without these people. Secondly the location is brilliant, within walking distance to Pimlico tube and Victoria Station or if you prefer the bus a bus stop right out front for the #24 bus. Now the negative and unfortunately there are too many of them and I've listed them all of Trip Advisor in detail but in brief, rooms are tiny, dirty, the smell of mould was so strong we had to leave the window open when we were out and the fan on all night. Rooms were stupidly hot! Just not a nice place all round. Read my Trip Advisor review if you like as Google won't allow me to elaborate here!

It's located nicely, only a quick walk away from station victoria, some stores and restaurants and the centre. The rooms are what you'd expect for the price, for the heatwave there were fans which were helping just enough. Otherwise a clean hotel and nice breakfast. The best part was the staff, who was super helpful with all our questions and problems! Thanks to them, especially Albina, we had a nice stay :)
