About Sidney Hotel London-Victoria
Step into a room at the Sidney Hotel London-Victoria and you'll find an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning and in-room drinks ready to go, with free WiFi for catching up on messages after a day out. Family rooms are available across the hotel's 80 rooms, though space is tight in some categories, so this suits guests who plan to be out exploring rather than lounging indoors. A lift serves all floors and luggage storage is on hand for early arrivals or late departures.
Downstairs there's a restaurant and bar for meals and a drink without having to venture out, plus a complimentary breakfast to start the day. Concierge services and meeting rooms round out the practical offering, and the walls between rooms aren't the thickest, worth bearing in mind if you're a light sleeper.
The hotel sits on Belgrave Road, within easy reach of Victoria Station and Westminster, making it a straightforward base for getting around London by public transport. Pubs, restaurants and other eateries are all close by for evenings out, and staff on site are known for being helpful with local recommendations and practical requests.

What guests say
We had an amazing stay at this hotel with our family for 4 nights. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. A special thank you to Rodriguez at the reception. He was incredibly polite, respectful, warm, and always willing to help. His English and especially his accent were absolutely outstanding, and he treated every guest with genuine kindness and professionalism. He made our stay even more enjoyable. This may be a small hotel, but it truly feels like a five-star experience. It is absolutely worth every penny. The location is very central, making transportation around London extremely easy. The rooms were comfortable, the ventilation and air conditioning were excellent, the cleanliness was impeccable, and the breakfast was more than sufficient to start the day. Our children were extremely happy throughout our stay, and all of our family's needs were met beyond our expectations. I would like to thank all the staff and the hotel owners for their hospitality and dedication. If I visit London again, I will definitely stay here again without hesitation. Highly recommended!

Here’s a natural and friendly English version of your review: The hotel is in a fantastic location. You can reach both Victoria and Pimlico stations within a 6–7 minute walk. Yes, the rooms are small, but if you’re visiting London as a tourist and don’t plan to spend much time in your room, it’s really not an issue. The breakfast is adequate (and I’m saying this as a Turkish person!), although I have to admit I was a bit disappointed that there was no cheese. :) But the best thing about this hotel is definitely its incredibly friendly staff. Their positive energy is something you feel the moment you approach the reception desk. Special thanks to Manahi and Rodrigo for their kindness and hospitality. They truly made our stay even more enjoyable.

👍🏼: All reception & restaurant staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Room was very basic but clean (even behind & underneath the beds). The free breakfast is very basic but certainly an added bonus & nice gesture from the hotel. Great location with the number 24 bus stop right outside which takes you to most of the popular attractions. Other bus stops such as C10 close by too. We were able to safely and securely leave our luggage after we’d checked out, with ease & then went back to collect later in the day. A comfortable & convenient stay in a great location for a good price! 👎🏼: The inside of the hotel and decor was a bit dated and lift is very tiny. We were on the basement level, in a front facing room, right next to the restaurant (none of which we minded) but the noise levels - from above - between 10pm - 12am made it very difficult when trying to sleep. And then outside the room from 07:30am onwards due to breakfast & housekeeping etc. Outside of the room window was stairs up to the front of the hotel; not for use by guests but used for housekeeping & other members of staff. We heard lots of conversations, shouting, disruptions and just general noise coming from here on a daily basis during our stay. Finally, the hotel is not accessible for prams or wheelchairs. We had a double buggy as travelling with 2 under 2 and it was challenging to get in and out of the hotel.

Everyone on the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming during my stay. This hotel is located in a beautiful neighborhood, relatively peaceful while being close to one of London's main stations, as well as many of the most iconic, touristy locations: Westminster Abbey and the Big Ben all being within walking distance, but you could also easily reach Buckingham Palace and the spectacular Hyde Park in just a few more minutes. During my stay, I enjoyed the complementary continental breakfast, simple but with enough options to start the day. My only small complaint is that with the private bathroom being windowless, sometimes there's a bit of a smell of, how to put it?, damp. A few minutes with the room window open should do the trick. All in all, very nice. Once again many thanks to the staff for their hard work!
