A 43-room hotel on Belgrave Road in central London, close to Victoria Station and within reach of Buckingham Palace.

About Victoria Inn

Belgrave Road sits in the heart of Pimlico, a short walk from Victoria Station and within reach of Buckingham Palace, and it's here that the Victoria Inn offers its 43 rooms to travellers wanting a central London base. The surrounding streets are lined with restaurants, pubs and eateries, making it easy to step out for a meal or a drink without going far.

Rooms come with air conditioning and free WiFi, though some are on the smaller side and street noise can carry through at night, so light sleepers may want to bear that in mind. Breakfast is served on site, and there's a bar for an evening drink, plus a garden for a quieter moment away from the road. Practical extras include luggage storage and a laundry service, useful for anyone breaking up a longer trip.

Free on-site parking is a rare bonus for a central London hotel, saving guests the hassle of finding street parking in the area. Staff are generally responsive and the location itself does much of the work, putting Victoria Station, Buckingham Palace and the wider city within easy walking distance or a short journey away.

Friendly and kind staff, clean, and overall everything was really good. Wi-fi is excellent. The only slightly disturbing thing was that the doors closed very loudly, and you could hear quite a lot of noise from the neighbouring rooms , although we may just have had particularly noisy neighbours during our stay. Other than that, we were very happy with everything and would gladly recommend it.

On arrival, we came dressed in casual clothing and got odd looks from the receptionist- questioning if we should’ve even been there. Arrived 20 minutes after check-in and the room still wasn’t cleaned, after entering a messy room we came back 10 minutes later to find it cleaned. Meaning rooms aren’t thoroughly cleaned after each visitor, following this- there were toe nails on the floor, imbedded into the carpet. Tiny hallways throughout the building, making it a tight squeeze. Even tighter when cleaners would leave all their equipment in the tiny corridors and taking up the lift usage. The lifts were slow which forced you to use the stairs most times. Also, you can hear other people in their rooms, coughing, showering, using the hair dryer. Even had a room that seemed to be having a party late at night and no one asked them to quiet down. -Staff were SLAMMING doors throughout my stay too, total disregard for their guests sleeping late morning. Despite all that, the rooms are quite nice. Small but spacious and higher floors have wonderful views. Staff are helpful and available 24/7. The shower is lovely, cute little bathroom. For a solo stay it’s okay!

Nice and clean hotel, very close to Victoria coach bus station and close to Victoria station. I appreciated the fact that at the check in the receptionist acknowledged my request sent by email in advance for a quiet room and I got exactly what I asked for! I recommend it for solo travellers, especially because of the 24/7 reception desk service because not having it, it's not been a good experience for me in the past. I am not giving 5 stars only because when I checked into the room, the tv turned on by itself and it was impossible to turn it off, together with a very laud volume on... I rang the reception straight away and I had to wait for the receptionist for quite a while to come and fix it because he was by himself, providing at the end a new remote control. I was exhausted after a very long day, I checked in at the hotel in the evening and I just didn't like to had to be waiting just because of a remote control battery issue that wasn't been checked properly before checking in a new guest...

Clean and tidy hotel, currently being updated but the building staff are polite and quiet so no issue. About 5 minutes walk from the underground with nice cafes in the local area. Rooms and small but clean and functional, it seems most have air conditioning.
