About Jesmond Dene

King's Cross is one of London's best-connected corners, with major train stations within easy reach and plenty of pubs, restaurants and entertainment on the surrounding streets. Jesmond Dene sits among this at 27 Argyle Street, offering a straightforward base for exploring the capital without needing to rely on taxis or the Tube to get started.

The hotel has 20 rooms, kept clean and comfortable, each with tea and coffee making facilities and decent showers. Rooms lean towards the compact side, but the trade-off is a central position that's hard to beat. A restaurant and bar operate on site, breakfast is available, and there's free WiFi throughout, along with a garden for a quieter moment away from the street.

Staff are on hand to help with concierge services and luggage storage, useful for anyone arriving early or leaving late, and free on-site parking is a genuine bonus in this part of London. With pubs, restaurants and eateries all nearby, guests have plenty of options for evenings out without travelling far from the door.

Excellent location, and incredibly kind staffs. Thanks to their attentive and thoughtful service, because of that I had a wonderful trip. The only downside is that the room is clean but fairly small, so keep in mind that there isn't much space to fully unpack your luggage. A special thank you to "SANI" for all your help! I'd also like to thank the other staff at the front desk whose name I didn't ask. on my next visit in London, I would definitely love to stay here.

The hotel was perfect for what I needed. About 10 minute walk from King’s Cross station. I arrived after midnight and service was available and good. The room was functional and clean. Beds comfortable, towels provided. Only issue was my room was on the top floor (4th I think) and there was no lift, but nothing wrong with a bit of exercise! I’ll definitely use again.

I was looking for a room near St Pancras to take a train the day after. This hotel was a true oasis of calm and peace after a very uncomfortable flight. The staff was kind and helpful, the room was clean and exactly as advertised on pictures, and I slept like a baby. Very calm and quiet despite proximity to busy streets and the train stations. Excellent restaurants and pubs galore walking distance in the neighborhood. Overall excellent experience, highly recommend it!

+ We had the room 4, though its small but it has all you need. + The location is amazing, the staff very professional, helpful. + The room is clean, quiet. + Water pressure is good, hot water is hot - bed a bit small for two people (140cm) - extra charge for air condition, but for end of April is ok to sleep with an open window at night, we slept like babies - very small toilet, you almost can't fit the feet behind the bathroom closed door if you are over 175cm tall, but its clean and functional and managable
