Exceptional location and price! The inside is a bit 80s and the rooms with communal toilet and showers will not be for everyone. But everything is clean and the beds are comfortable. For what you pay, it is very reasonable. Would highly recommend for those looking for a rest near St Pancras but perhaps not for a longer stay in London!

The perfect hotel for us! Location very close to King's Cross St Pancras making it very convenient to catch trains and underground. Extremely clean and towels changed daily. Lots of restaurants nearby. Really cannot fault it!

Looking for clean, no-frills accommodation steps away from King's Cross? Macdonald might be what you're looking for. Stayed a few times over the years now, and I will continue doing so in the future. Plus: location, location, location! Minus: the rooms are fairly small and the stairs are steep. For a few days city trip, for which I only need a clean, comfy bed and shower this is a clear winner for me

It is what it is, a very convenient hotel to Kings Cross and St Pancras station at an affordable price. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and the hotel was quiet. We were very pleased with our stay and would recommend this hotel. As our room was ready, the propieter let us in before check-in time, that doesn't usually happen with the big chain hotels. A short walk to St Pancras International was such a bonus, we would definitely stay here again.
