About London Continental Hotel

Baker Street and Marylebone are within walking distance of the London Continental Hotel, putting guests close to a good spread of pubs, restaurants and evening entertainment without needing to rely on transport. The area's shops and eateries make it a practical base for exploring central London on foot.

The hotel itself occupies a Victorian townhouse on Gloucester Place, with straightforward rooms and studios, all en-suite, some suited to families. A lift serves the building, WiFi is free throughout, and a 24-hour reception means arrivals and queries are handled at any hour. Luggage storage and airport transfer options add convenience for those coming from or heading to the airport, and meeting rooms are available for those combining business with their stay.

A free continental breakfast is included, a straightforward start before heading out to the nearby restaurants and bars. This is a no-frills, adults-only option rather than a polished stay, with the location doing much of the work rather than the accommodation itself.

Stayed here for a while. Incredibly Judgy and shady staff, apart from a few. Will enter your room when you're not there and steal your items and claim it's ok, saying "it's just an inspection" because they need to "search for drugs." The rooms are tiny and smell horrible, with no real security. The receptionists sleep in the reception area. The rooms are next to a busy road so expect to get no sleep

When I need to live for sudden situations, I select this hotel and live there 4 month. Generally speaking the hotel workers are kind and when asked they help you. I didn’t see and security problems. The rooms are avarage but consider the price its good to live in a one bed room with a bathroom. Overall I like my 4 month time here.

Overall I liked my stay here, the rooms were actually really cool and the mattresses were comfy. But I must admit that some things were missing in the kitchen (not enough cups, knives etc) and also the toilet flush in our bathroom was a bit weak. Overall those things didn't bother me too much, I had a good time, thanks to the great location, close to Baker Street and Hyede Park.

Considering this looks upmarket from the outside one would expect luxury inside but it is a cramped, sweaty little hotel with toi nany rooms. So they are all like a shoe box with barely enough room to swing a cocktoach. Reception was sour. I said the room nunber i was visiting and the receptionist shook his head as if there was nobsuch number. Its in the basement i told him . He said to the right to the tight was a wall. The lift was in the left. In the room was I thought an unmade bed but it was the curtainbs which haf fallen. Off the bracket with the pole. I eft after 2 hours
