What guests say
It's a typical room of this type of hotel, smelling slightly of damp, and showing its age. Having said that the sheets were clean and crisp and the bed/pillows were comfortable, the bathroom was tiny and is the most modern part of the room. For us the stay was all about the balcony facing Hide Park. Breakfast was absolutely delightful, freshly squeezed orange juice ,which you make yourself and had a selection of fruits, cereals etc. The staff are very nice and accommodating. Overall it was a comfortable stay which was enjoyable

Cons: Beware staying here during a heatwave, hotel has no air conditioning (old building) but they do provide a fan. However fan was quite dusty and weak. Pros: Location was very good, short walk away from the station and Kensington Gardens is in right in front of the hotel. There’s a nice pub and restaurant beside the hotel as well. Bathroom was quite modern too, room was quite clean and modern enough as well. This hotel is perfect for a short stay, and would probably be great for winter stays instead of summertime during a heatwave.

I was traveling alone and I stayed 1 night in June 2025. I had the last room though small but it has everything I needed! It’s near the train station. Staffs were kind and helpful! One bugbear was the walk from Paddington station to hotel in the night was a tad quiet and it’s something I was not comfortable with.

Amazing hospitality! I got caught in a heavy rain shower and was welcomed with such kindness. They let me stay inside and wait in the dry until the rain had passed. The warmest and friendliest people I’ve met in London so far. I highly recommend this place!
