About Royal Lancaster London

Royal Lancaster London suits travellers who want a proper full-service base for a city stay, whether that's a work trip needing meeting rooms and business facilities, a family booking who'll appreciate the family rooms and childcare options, or a couple after a comfortable break with Hyde Park on the doorstep. With 411 rooms, it has the scale to handle all of these at once without losing consistency.

Rooms come with air conditioning, en-suite bathrooms and in-room drinks, and many look out over Hyde Park or the London skyline. Guests can expect spotless, modern interiors rather than period charm. Facilities extend well beyond the room: a restaurant, bar, snack bar, gym, spa and sauna, plus room service, laundry, packed lunches and porter and concierge support. Breakfast is a particular strength, with a wide buffet spread covering plenty of options. Staff are consistently attentive and well regarded, adding a personal touch to what is otherwise a large operation.

The location makes onward travel straightforward, with tube and train stations close by and Hyde Park directly adjacent for walking or running. Pets are welcome, valet parking and airport transfers are available, and an electric vehicle charge point is on site for those driving in. Pubs, bars and restaurants nearby give plenty of options beyond the hotel's own dining.

The rooms are spacious airy and well appointed with great views. But storage spaces clothes etc for a few days stay are too limited - that’s the only negative I have. The hotel excelled with the staff and their very helpful attitude. We had only arrived on our first day of a 4 day stay in London when we had a family bereavement which required us to cancel all our plans and leave early the next day. The staff and management could not have been better at helping and facilitating us. Particularly Vitali on the front desk and the concierge on the Thursday evening- superb and so accommodating and understanding. Even the following morning at 05.50 the reception staff were superb. Room service were also very helpful and understanding as was dealing with the manager in the Italian restaurant that we cancelled - with no notice. They also had a packed breakfast and some tea ready for us as we left. Thank you. Location is excellent for Heathrow and for walking into town. Highly recommend and despite not availing of any of the facilities it was the people that made this worth returning for.

What a true unassuming gem, hidden in a quiet location. Easy to travel to. Perfect location by the tranquil Italian Gardens. Once the door was opened by the friendly, smiley doorman, we walked into a calm, quiet, luxurious hotel. The front desk staff made checking in easy, even though we were early. Each and every staff member was polite, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. This friendliness make us feel so welcome and made our stay truly special. A special thank you to the bar and restaurant staff including Monir, Tatiana, and Miriam. They were all kind, warm and professional, and this set the tone for the whole stay. Such a memorable birthday trip. Thank you.

Stayed for 2 nights but wish it was longer. A very very lovely hotel, great location, quite central to everything. Walking distance to main attractions if you feel like the exercise, otherwise the staff more than happy to assist you by getting transport. Everyone was so friendly, we had a great time. For London, the room was quite spacious, could have done with a bit more space between our twin beds but wasn't an issue. Will definitely come again thanks everyone
