About Parkwood at Marble Arch

Just sixteen rooms set the tone at Parkwood at Marble Arch, a Victorian townhouse hotel on Stanhope Place in central London. The scale keeps things intimate, with a character that leans more period house than large hotel, and each room comes with free WiFi as standard.

Mornings start with a full English breakfast, and the hotel offers luggage storage for guests arriving early or leaving late. Rooms are described as quaint rather than grand, in keeping with the building's Victorian origins, so those wanting modern minimalist space may want to look elsewhere.

The location puts Hyde Park and Oxford Street within easy reach, and there are pubs, bars and restaurants nearby for evenings out. It suits visitors who want a straightforward base near the park and the shops rather than an experience built around the hotel itself.

I stayed here for an event in London. For a central london hotel that's not a 5 star it is pretty good for what it is. No Aircon which was bad for the time I stayed here as we were having a heatwave bit that's pretty normal for hotels in the UK ( I'm from the UK) There was a fan which is good. Honestly I think the 1 stars on here were because they havent traveled here before. Compared to some of the places in central London it's brilliant . Considering you can't even live in this area unless your a multi millionaire .

I booked this hotel very last minute for me and my visiting parent and I have to say, it was the luckiest pick. For the low price (considering it's central London and right by Hyde Park), I wasn't expecting high standard, but I was so pleasantly surprised. The service and people were really kind, the breakfast served in the morning was really good and the two cooks were so helpful and hospitable. I was genuiely surprised by the nice presentation of the room itself AND room check/tidy up during the day (was not expecting). You have fridge, kettle, cups/glasses and tea/coffee available in your room which was greatly appreciated by us. Some things around the hotel could use a bit of fixing or improvement, but given how old the house itself is, I was impressed - better than most of student accomondation up-keep for sure. It was surely a good introduction of normal British house for my parent. We both enjoyed our stay and it was honestly a great experience. We'll be coming back!

Islam is a religion founded upon mercy, justice, and noble character. It calls for compassion toward all people regardless of their backgrounds and emphasizes honesty, humility, and respect in every aspect of life. Muslims are encouraged to care for the poor, uphold the truth, forgive others, and treat people with kindness and goodwill even in difficult situations. At its core, Islam calls for establishing a strong connection with God, accompanied by good treatment of others. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught that the best among people are those with the best character, showing that faith is not limited to words alone but is also reflected in actions and behavior. Through its teachings, Islam promotes peace, balance, and moral integrity, offering a way of life that elevates the soul and contributes to the well-being of society.

I stayed two nights for the interview in London and met very friendly and nice hotel owners. :) They always greet all the guests and even offer a nice breakfast! The hotel is located just in front of Hyde Park, and you can easily access central London (use the bus!). It only takes 10 mins. I definitely will stay in the hotel again when I go to London again in the future. Already miss the owners🥺 Thank you so much for making all the moments in London memorable!
