About Point A Hotel - London, Canary Wharf

Point A Hotel - London, Canary Wharf is a modern, purpose-built property with 130 rooms set among the glass towers of the business district. The style is functional rather than grand, with clean lines and a straightforward, efficient feel throughout.

Rooms are compact but well kept, with comfortable beds, air conditioning and en-suite bathrooms, plus free WiFi as standard. Some rooms are on the small side, so this suits guests who want a tidy base rather than sprawling space. Concierge services, luggage storage, laundry service and free on-site parking round out the practical offering, and the hotel can also host weddings.

Point A Hotel is a modern, technology-led hotel that is particularly well suited to solo travellers or anyone looking for a smart, convenient stay in London. The hotel feels neat, sophisticated and well maintained, with a comfortable seating area in the lobby. My room and bathroom were exceptionally clean and included all the essential facilities needed for a short stay. The rooms are compact, so they may feel a little small or claustrophobic for some guests. However, the space was designed efficiently, and I found it comfortable for my needs. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay, slept very well and would happily stay here again.

Excellent stay in a great location. The hotel is very clean, modern, and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The location in Canary Wharf is excellent—quiet, safe, and with easy access to the Elizabeth Line and Underground. The room is compact, as expected, but very comfortable and well designed. Overall, it was great value for money, and I would definitely stay here again.

“I completely disagree with your statement. There were no visible signs anywhere in the hotel indicating that smoking is prohibited, nor was I informed of this policy at check-in. In fact, I completed a self check-in process with no staff member clearly explaining any smoking restrictions. Regarding the incident, I do not accept the claim that smoking occurred in the room as presented, as no clear or transparent evidence was properly shared with me at the time. I also find the handling of the situation unprofessional, particularly the way I was treated during the conversation, which felt disrespectful and not in line with standard hospitality practices. Additionally, I would like to highlight that in many international hotels, smoking policies are clearly communicated upon arrival and penalties are handled transparently rather than abruptly cancelling stays without fair resolution. My reservation was terminated while I still had remaining nights, which I consider an unfair decision. I strongly believe this situation was not handled appropriately, and I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience. Very disappointing experience. The room was not clean, and the overall standard of hygiene was far below what I expected. The hotel manager was unprofessional, dismissive, and unwilling to address my concerns or offer any meaningful solution. Customer service was poor from start to finish, and I left feeling frustrated and ignored. I would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made to both cleanliness and management.

My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing and well below any acceptable standard. The service was poor, unprofessional, and very slow in responding to basic requests. Cleanliness was unacceptable, and the room conditions were misleading compared to what was advertised. Overall, the hotel shows a clear lack of care for guests and basic hospitality standards. I would strongly advise others to avoid staying here, as I will definitely not return.
