About Premier Inn London Leicester Square

Premier Inn London Leicester Square is a six-floor hotel with 83 rooms, built for guests who want to be right in the middle of the West End without paying a fortune to be there. Each room comes with an en-suite bathroom and drinks on hand, and accessible rooms are available; a lift serves all floors, and reception is staffed around the clock.

Breakfast and dinner are served in the on-site restaurant, a straightforward option before heading out to explore, though guests should be aware that rooms facing busy streets can pick up noise from the area outside. Staff are on hand throughout the day to help with local recommendations, and the surrounding streets are packed with pubs, restaurants and entertainment venues within easy walking distance.

The location is the main draw: Leicester Square itself, Chinatown and the wider theatre district are all on the doorstep, making this a practical base for a night at the theatre or a day exploring central London. Parking is available nearby on a chargeable basis at Q-Park Chinatown on Newport Place for those arriving by car.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. The staff was professional, friendly, and always willing to help, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The location was convenient, and everything was well organized. A special thanks to Raluca, who was especially kind, helpful, and made us feel truly welcome. Her positive attitude and excellent service made a real difference during our stay.

The entrance is somewhat off-putting. It is very dark and shabby, doubling as the entry/exit for goods and waste. When we arrived, we were asked to make way for a member of staff with a trolley, which didn’t give a very good first impression. There was a guard posted (sometimes) in the evening. Our room was small and gloomy. The window was fixed shut and there was a net curtain on the outside to blur the lack of view. The room was generally in need of refurbishment – especially the grotty bathroom. However, it is brilliantly located for all the main tourist spots in London, the reception staff were welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast was pretty good. It is truly a budget hotel but there are better value options around.

Poor service x support from the offset. My best friend who is wheelchair dependent, and myself who suffers from an energy limiting illness ( both suffer from neuropathic pain), have had a bad experience with the hotel, something we had been looking forward to for months! A twin bedded, accessible room was booked in February 26, for July 1st x 2nd 26. We phoned on June 30th just to check everything was OK. We'll, it wasn't. We apparently booked a 'double bed room! er no we didn't, eventually my friends email from Feb was located and after much conversation, an us being made to feel in the wrong, our request was accepted. July 1 st arrives x we arrive at the hotel. And...once again, met with the very same conversation as we'd had yesterday on the phone! It was like a conversation on repeat and made to feel we had booked wrongly. Eventually, he had the notion to contact housekeeping, and had a difficult conversation with them to spilt the bed into 2 singles! He guaranteed when we returned later, it was as we had booked. Well, we arrived back, one in a wheelchair, on with a rolator. Showed where extra drink facilities were incase we needed them . Any fruit tea...no we dont do them anymore... no offer to fetch any, so no warm drink for one of us. What a poor service. Anyway, with no offer of help with bags etc, we Eventually found our room. Later on, wanting a bit of TV while we chilled...no remote or any sign of anything to turn TV on! Struggle back down corridors x lift to complain. Remote was offered x brought to room, eventually. Ok. Getting ready for bed , and wanting a wash... well... it took an age for the sink to empty so that my friend could have a wash, clear blockage. We waited until breakfast to report it as couldn't face another long drawn out venture in night clothes. This morning, we explained this, they did apologise, but did not seem to be doing a thing, so we prompted them to report it. Have to say, for such a price for a 3 star hotel??? ... not impressed at all. We told reception that we are going to complain...we were given a card! This was room 601.

Fantastic experience! There cannot be a better location to stay for tourists. Everything is walkable from here with tons of bars and restaurants nearby. Would absolutely come back. Good value breakfast. Lastly I cannot thank Raluca enough who was extremely helpful and nice to us at check-in and all through our stay - gave us an early check-in since I was travelling with a young child and old parents; extremely considerate of her.
