About Prince William Hotel
Free on-site parking is not something many hotels in this part of London can offer, but the Prince William Hotel, on Gloucester Terrace, provides just that alongside 47 rooms within easy reach of Paddington Station and Hyde Park. The building itself is a townhouse conversion, with a lift for those who prefer not to use the stairs and a garden for guests wanting a quiet spot outdoors.
Rooms are kept clean and well maintained, and staff are attentive, with porter and concierge services on hand along with drinks available in room. One thing to note: the hotel lacks air conditioning, and some rooms can get uncomfortably warm, particularly in warmer months. Breakfast is served on site, and there's a restaurant and bar for guests who'd rather not venture out, plus free WiFi throughout.
The location puts guests within walking distance of Hyde Park and close to Paddington's transport links, with plenty of pubs, restaurants and other eateries nearby for evenings out. The hotel also offers itself as a wedding venue, and valet parking is available for those arriving by car.
What guests say
Beautiful, little hotel, rooms a bit small but clean and modern no A/C but Ventilators in every room. The Hotelstaff are very nice and there for help 24/7. It's in the heart of Paddington very central to reach big Ben and co. With bus, Elisabeth line etc. We defintly would go there again! And I totaly loved the little lobby gave a feeling of Sherlock Holmes

Perfect location for business traveller, few minutes walk from Paddington station. Room is tidy and comfortable. Necessities are well provided. Breakfast variety and quality are acceptable. Staff are friendly especially Paresh. I enjoyed the stay.

After having to change plans last minute this hotel was fantastic for accommodating us and being extremely welcoming and helpful with any request or question we had. There is no elevator up to the top floor which could be an issue to some but it only meant we had to go up one set of stairs to reach our floor which was no issue for us. Overall though I would be more than happy to stay here again and would be one of my top options when staying in london again

The hotel is in a great position but the heat in the hotel is insane. It was 24 deg outside and 35 deg in our room. We stayed on level 3 and the windows could not be opened…outrageous when it was so hot inside. We had 3 fans to push the hot air around. It was impossible to sleep due to the heat. The light could not be used in the bathroom as it’s attached to a heater in the mirror that would heat up the already far to hot room. We stayed 4 nights and had to be out of the room during the day as it was far too hot to stay in. This hotel must allow windows to be open in summer. The little hotels around the area did have open windows so I don’t know why the price William didn’t. Service was robotic. Didn’t have their breakfast. I understand not many hotels have aircon in London but find another one that can open windows.
