Kensington Gardens and Notting Hill are both an easy walk from Ravna Gora, making this Holland Park Avenue hotel a handy base for exploring west London. The surrounding streets offer plenty to do, with restaurants, pubs and entertainment nearby, and good public transport links mean the rest of the city is within easy reach too.
The hotel has 22 rooms, with some offering private bathrooms finished to a high standard and others sharing facilities. A restaurant and bar are on site, along with a garden, free WiFi, air conditioning and drinks available in rooms. Breakfast is served each morning with a good range of choice. Business travellers are catered for with meeting rooms and business services, and staff can help with luggage storage and concierge requests.

Mediocre hotel in a nice location. Looks like the hotel was refurbished recently but quality of finishings is cheap. Single glazed windows, so gets very noisy. Super uncomfortable mattress, too soft and bouncy and you can feel the springs in your back. Room was overall clean except for the bathroom. The cleaning person forgot to clean someone else’s hair which was all over the shower floor. In the morning, couldn’t even talk about these issues, as the reception was manned by a worker / technician wearing overalls who barely spoke any English. The night manger who welcomed us was very nice though and helpful. Didn’t feel like having breakfast there as food looked cheap and processed. There are many other better breakfast options in the vicinity. No kettle in the room and very basic amenities. Such a pity. Great potential that remains unfortunately unfulfilled.

Great location, but the room needs urgent maintenance. While the location is excellent and the hotel was clean, our stay was quite uncomfortable. The room was extremely hot and the window wouldn't open properly to let in fresh air. However, the worst part was the bed; the spring mattress felt incredibly old and uncomfortable, making it impossible to get a good night's rest. The breakfast buffet was just average. It’s a decent option for London prices if you only care about the location, but they really need to replace the mattresses. We expected a bit more for the price.
