About The Laslett Hotel

Notting Hill mixes pastel townhouses, market stalls and quiet garden squares, and it's on one of these residential streets that The Laslett Hotel makes its home. The 51 rooms lean towards understated comfort rather than flash, each with an en-suite bathroom (including proper bathtubs), air conditioning and an honesty bar stocked for evenings in. Family and accessible rooms are available, and the whole place is served by a lift.

Downstairs there's a restaurant and bar for meals and snacks, with breakfast served each morning and drinks available in-room via room service. Guests can unwind further at the on-site spa and sauna or keep up a routine in the gym, while a garden and outdoor seating area offer somewhere to sit outside. The hotel also handles meetings and weddings, backed by concierge, porter and valet parking services, plus laundry and luggage storage for those passing through.

Portobello Road Market and Kensington Gardens are both within easy reach, and the surrounding streets have no shortage of pubs, restaurants and other places to eat. Staff are consistently noted for being attentive and genuinely helpful, which goes some way towards the personal feel of a hotel this size.

We had a wonderful stay at The Laslett in Notting Hill! We only wish we could stay longer. The staff were incredibly gracious and accommodating with our little one and our extensive gear. I had an amazing deep tissue massage at the serene spa, we had a delicious breakfast that spared nothing, great coffees, etc. The room was spotless with beautiful touches and amenities, the cot was perfect for our little one who even got a teddy souvenir, the location is perfect. The Laslett represents why we prefer a hotel experience- it has it all. We’re grateful to the kind and fun staff for their welcome!

What truly sets this hotel apart is the highly personalized service. The staff remembered our names, offered incredible local recommendations, and especially went above and beyond when I broke my foot in London. The location is amazing. I cannot recommend this beautiful boutique hotel enough!

Fantastic location, friendly staff who are doing their very best but the rooms are tired (bathrooms are fine though), food takes a long time to arrive, portions are kind of small (the porridge comes in a bowl the size of a large coffee cup) and is of medium quality. At £250 a night, I do not feel I am getting great value for money.

I stayed in a double room with my partner midweek last week for a city break staycation. It’s our 3rd time back at the Laslett and we were so well looked after by the whole team that we’d definitely stay here again in the future. The rooms are really comfortable and modern and the bath was a real treat. We loved looking out the windows to the white townhouses of the area and Pembridge Gardens which is a quiet road. We got some light room service and had a drink in the bar before heading out to eat. The location of the hotel is fantastic for us as we indulged in the neighbourhood vibe of Portobello Rd/Notting Hill enjoying the stunning architecture, the restaurants (Dorian, Alleycats Pizza and the Pelican pub). Being right on Notting Hill Gate Station tube meant we could get into Soho quickly with a few stops on the central line. When we checked out, the hotel held our luggage while we took the short walk to Hyde Park for a stroll in the spring sun among the daffodils. I’d highly recommend The Laslett to anyone wanted a boutique hotel experience in a peaceful part of London with access to all the action.
