About The Melita

Charlwood Street sits in Pimlico, a residential corner of central London within easy reach of Victoria Station, and it's here that The Melita occupies a townhouse setting with 21 rooms. The location suits anyone wanting to walk to trains, buses and the Underground while still returning to a quieter street away from the busier main roads.

Rooms come with air conditioning and have been fitted with new mattresses, along with the usual comforts of free WiFi and in-room drinks. Mornings bring complimentary coffee and freshly baked pastries, and there's a full restaurant and bar on site for other meals or a drink at the end of the day. A garden offers a spot to sit outside, and practicalities are covered with luggage storage, porter and concierge services, business facilities, and free on-site parking - useful in a part of London where parking is otherwise hard to come by.

Staff are a particular strength, with a warm and attentive manner that guests describe as more personal than the usual hotel welcome. Beyond the hotel, Pimlico and neighbouring Victoria offer plenty of pubs, restaurants and entertainment within walking distance, making The Melita a practical base for exploring central London on foot or by public transport.

Hotel Melita was absolutely amazing. It is a beautiful boutique hotel with so much warmth and character, and we felt genuinely welcomed from the moment we arrived. The staff were very accommodating, and the manager, Anna, is such a fabulous person. She made our stay feel truly special and went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience. The complimentary warm bakery items and coffee served in the morning were such a lovely touch. The hotel is also in a great location, set in a beautiful neighbourhood and very close to public transport, making it easy to explore London. A must-stay for anyone looking for a warm, personal and memorable boutique hotel experience.

Comfortable beds. Great water pressure. Nice double-door hallway noise management. Tucked down a quiet street. Safe. Exceptional, genuine customer service… felt like we were part of their family. Nice coffee and pastries in the AM. Walkable to niche restaurants, pubs, convenient stores, trains, shopping malls, tourist attractions.

Fantasic, every single staff member was friendly and attentive. The coffee in the AM was really good and they loaded us with fresh warm pastries in the morning to go. We were a group of 3 and stayed on the second floor, private bathroom and a balcony over looking the street. We had an ac unit in our room which was great! It was close to Victoria station and lots of shops and restaurants. We felt this was a safe area and had 0 issues the 3 days we were there. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.
