About Sloane Square Hotel
Sloane Square itself sets the tone here, with its gardens, shops and steady flow of Chelsea and Knightsbridge life passing right outside the door. Sloane Square Hotel occupies this address at 7-12 Sloane Square, putting guests within easy reach of some of London's best-known streets while keeping the noise of the city at bay thanks to well-soundproofed windows.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and drinks available in-room, with family and accessible options also available. Beds are comfortable and the welcome is a strong point, with reception staff regularly singled out for their helpfulness. That said, some rooms show their age and could do with better upkeep, so it is worth bearing in mind alongside the hotel's other strengths.
There's a restaurant and bar on site, breakfast is served, and touches like complimentary tea and scones add a pleasant note to a stay. Room service, laundry, concierge and luggage storage cover the practical side, while meeting rooms and business services suit those travelling for work. Beyond the hotel, the square and its surrounding streets offer restaurants, pubs and entertainment within easy walking distance, with pets also welcome for those travelling with animals.
What guests say
The main reason we chose this hotel was its excellent location. It is right in the heart of Sloane Square, with plenty of restaurants, cafés, and shops just a short walk away. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. The rooms were comfortable, well-maintained, and perfectly adequate for our needs. We didn’t encounter any issues during our stay, and everything went smoothly. I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again.

I am extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. I booked two rooms directly through the hotel’s website back in May because I wanted to ensure a smooth and comfortable stay. Unfortunately, the rooms I received were much smaller than advertised, and one of them had an air conditioning problem that was never properly resolved despite waiting for several days. To make matters worse, I woke up with bites on my body after sleeping in the bed, and I have attached photos as evidence. This was completely unacceptable and made my stay even more unpleasant. Customer service was equally disappointing. Although the hotel initially offered a small £100 discount after my complaint, they stopped responding when I explained that the compensation did not reflect the inconvenience I experienced. Overall, this was far below the standard I expected, especially after booking directly with the hotel months in advance. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend staying here based on my experience. Update: After I posted my Google review, the hotel cancelled the £100 compensation they had previously offered, which I found quite disappointing and, honestly, rather ironic. However, to be fair, after we checked out, they found an iPad that we had accidentally left in the room and returned it to us. Thank you to Ishwar for his honesty and assistance.

We had a great check in upon arrival. However, when we entered our room, the temperature was 35.0 degrees Celsius. We understand it was a hot week in London, but coincidentally none of the other rooms were as hot as ours. When we requested a room change, the staff said they were fully booked and did not have another room for us. They proceeded to put fans in our room and open the windows, but it was still unbearably hot. There were no other options that night and therefore we had to stay in the room. The next day, I woke up and the bathroom floor was wet due to the ceiling leaking. I almost slid and fell in the bathroom. When they tell you they have air conditioning, I wouldn’t fall for it. The rooms are equipped with barely working air conditioning and a lot of the other guests were also complaining about the same problem. The only excuse the staff could manage to come up with is that the infrastructure of the building was causing the high temperatures in the rooms. Note that the rooms were hotter than outside was. Would not recommend to anyone staying in the area!

I had a great experience staying recently at the Sloane Square Hotel. Perfect location, surprisingly quiet, complimentary scone and tea. All much appreciated! The absolute highlight of the hotel is nonetheless its stuff. A special thank you to Cole, who is a true gem of this place. Competent, friendly, funny and kind. Thank you!
