About The Egerton House Hotel
Breakfast at The Egerton House Hotel runs beyond the usual, with dishes such as Moroccan eggs and Eggs Benedict served alongside the classics, while the bar makes a feature of martinis mixed to order at the table and finished with complimentary snacks. It sets the tone for a hotel in Knightsbridge that pairs a proper food and drink offering with a genuinely attentive style of service, giving the place a warmth that extends well beyond the plate.
The 28 rooms are furnished to a high standard and kept spotlessly clean, each with an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning and room service on hand, with drinks in room and porter and concierge services adding to the comfort. Facilities stretch to a garden, meeting rooms, business services, a bridal suite and VIP facilities, making the hotel as suited to a wedding or a work trip as to a weekend away, and pets are welcome too.
Its Knightsbridge address puts Chelsea and Hyde Park within easy reach, with restaurants, pubs and entertainment nearby for evenings out beyond the hotel bar. Airport transfers and valet parking are available for those arriving from further afield, and laundry and luggage storage take care of the practical side of a longer stay.

What guests say
Egerton is a quaint quintessential English hotel - the staff and the service they provide is impeccable. So friendly, attentive and helpful. The rooms are slightly tight however I’m mindful it is central London so space is limited. Toilet in our room has a bit of trouble flushing. Bathrooms feel very luxury with a towel warmer rack, neck pillow and epsom salts for a bath, robes and slippers. AC / temp was very comfortable. Turn down service was such a nice touch. Location is a bit away from the tube so prepare to take the bus if you want public transit. The breakfast is full service so plan accordingly to wait (not simply buffet / continental) however could tell it was very fresh. Guests seem to air on the older side (+50 years old). On the pricier side but nice service added value.

We stayed at Egerton House Hotel for our Elopement at the Chelsea Old Town Hall and it was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the team went above and beyond to make our stay feel truly special. The turndowns and the genuine warmth of the service - it was all world class. A special mention must go to Jacques, who was outstanding. He helped us coordinate some of the moving parts in the lead-up to our stay and even shared some fun honeymoon tips. He made the whole experience feel effortless. Egerton House reminds you what true luxury hospitality looks like. We would recommend it without hesitation to anyone looking for a special stay in London.

Wonderful expérience ! I had a wonderful stay on Sunday, February 1st, with the whole team for our show. The room was absolutely amazing, but what truly made the experience unforgettable was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, respectful and genuinely caring. You really feel listened to and welcomed here, and that makes all the difference. The food was excellent, especially the breakfast, and I loved all the thoughtful little touches during housekeeping — the neatly arranged room, the tea box, the chocolates… those details say a lot. Thank you to the entire team for your warmth, professionalism and generosity. An outstanding hotel with an exceptional human touch. I would come back without hesitation. We had a wonderful stay at The Egerton House Hotel in London, and it was honestly one of the most charming hotel experiences we have had. This is a hotel with real old-world London character in the best possible sense. It does not feel like a cold, generic luxury hotel. Instead, it feels personal, elegant, and full of warmth, with that classic style of service that is becoming harder and harder to find. The service throughout our stay was exceptional. The front desk staff were consistently kind, helpful, and genuinely eager to assist with anything, whether it was restaurant reservations, recommendations for things to do, or help at almost any hour of the day. It was the kind of place where people really seemed to care. On rainy days they offered umbrellas, they often made an effort to open the door for guests, and there were even complimentary chocolates available, which was such a lovely touch. Breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay. It was easily one of the best hotel breakfasts I have had, with delicious cooked-to-order dishes as well as excellent quality throughout. The breakfast staff were absolutely lovely. They always asked how we were, made an effort to have a pleasant conversation, and showed genuine interest in the guests, which made the mornings feel especially welcoming. We also appreciated the daily newspapers, which added to the classic atmosphere. A few breakfast dishes that really should not be missed are the healthy cookies, the Moroccan eggs, and the Eggs Benedict. The hotel bar is small and elegant, and the cocktails were excellent, with a real old-fashioned sense of quality and care. The room itself was slightly traditional in style, but that is part of the charm. You can clearly feel that the materials used throughout the hotel are of a very high standard. Even small details, like the heavy cast fixtures in the bathroom, gave a sense of real quality. The bed was outstanding, extremely comfortable, and the sheets were some of the best I have ever slept on in any hotel. The toiletries were also genuinely some of the best I have come across, not just nice for a hotel, but actually exceptional. Housekeeping was flawless. Every day the room was arranged beautifully, and they even carefully organized our personal toiletries, which made everything feel especially thoughtful and polished. The location is also very convenient, especially with its proximity to Knightsbridge station. Overall, The Egerton House Hotel was a real pleasure. Yes, the rooms may feel slightly traditional, but everything is done with such quality, care, and personality that it only adds to the experience. It is a beautiful hotel for anyone who appreciates true hospitality, comfort, and that rare old London atmosphere.
