About The Fox & Goose Hotel

The Fox & Goose Hotel is a sizeable 73-room property on Hanger Lane in Ealing, West London, built around a traditional pub and restaurant that gives the place its name and its character. It's a straightforward, well-run base for exploring west London, with the practical advantage of free on-site parking rather than the usual city squeeze.

Rooms are clean, comfortable and generously sized, fitted with air conditioning, coffee machines and drinks available in-room. The attached pub and restaurant serves a varied breakfast each morning and a proper food and drinks menu through the day, making it easy to eat well without leaving the building. Other facilities include a bar, snack bar, lift access, free WiFi, a garden, and concierge and porter services, and the hotel also hosts weddings. Pets are welcome, too.

Staff are consistently described as friendly, helpful and attentive, which goes some way to explaining the loyal following the hotel has built up. Ealing Broadway and the surrounding area offer further pubs, bars and restaurants nearby, along with entertainment options, making this a convenient spot for both leisure stays and longer visits to London.

Exceptional value for a last-minute Sunday stay! We got very lucky booking this at the last minute for a Sunday night at the end of May. At around £100 for two people - including an excellent breakfast - it offered phenomenal value for money. The Property: The hotel feels secure, featuring safe, barrier-gated parking which was a huge relief. The rooms were comfortable with complimentary Fuller's beer and a a good coffee machine. Location: Brilliant location. It’s an easy walk/short drive to Alperton station. The surrounding area is packed with great amenities, including multiple authentic Indian restaurants, the Loon Fung Oriental superstore, a Sainsbury's, and a McDonald's. Highly recommended for a budget-friendly London base.

This is a lovely hotel and we had a very enjoyable stay. Two fantastic aspects are the extremely friendly, helpful staff who I was so impressed by and the very clean, comfortable rooms. It was also very quiet in the night time. We had dinner in the pub attached and it was very nice. Breakfast is served there and it was really good with quality food and loads of choice. The staff in the pub are also outatanding at customer service and really went out of their way to help. I did not encounter one member of staff who wasn't great. I would be happy to return to this hotel and it was great value for money.

Stayed one night for the Harry Styles concert. Great location to get to Wembley. The hotel had decorated and put themed cocktails on the menu for the occasion which was great. Room was really clean and the bed was comfy. Breakfast in the morning was fab with lots of options. Fab lady working in the pub (so sorry I didn't ask for your name!) who was super friendly. Big shout out to Josh who was working the night shift on the reception and had to put up with me and my friend waiting for a pizza delivery that didn't deliver the pizza until 3am! By that time, we'd ordered something else and gone to bed but Josh collected our pizzas and put them in the fridge for us for the next day 😂 would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at The Fox & Goose - both the hotel and the pub / restaurant. From start to finish, everything was spot on. The meal itself was exceptional: beautifully prepared, full of flavour, and clearly made with real care. And the dessert… genuinely one of the best STPs I’ve had ever. A perfect finish to an already brilliant meal. What truly made the visit stand out, though, was the service. Jamal and Georgia were absolutely superb. Friendly, welcoming, and effortlessly chatty in a way that made the whole experience feel relaxed and personal. They struck that perfect balance between attentive and easygoing, and it genuinely elevated the evening. They are an absolute credit to the establishment and deserve real recognition. Oh and the hotel next door has super friendly staff, ample parking, comfy beds and free drinks and shortbread in the room! I’ll definitely be back when London calls me again.
