About The Grange Pub

Rooms at The Grange Pub are kept straightforward: a comfortable bed, free WiFi, and drinks available in-room, all set above a working pub in Southwark. This is adults-only accommodation, so it suits couples or friends after a quiet stay rather than families, and the emphasis is firmly on the pub downstairs rather than plush extras upstairs. Luggage storage and 24 hour reception mean early arrivals or late checkouts are easy to manage.

The real draw is what happens beneath the rooms. The kitchen turns out pizzas, fish and chips, and Sunday roasts, backed by a solid range of beers and cocktails from the bar. The atmosphere is relaxed and cosy, with a beer garden for warmer evenings, and staff are attentive without being intrusive. Pets are welcome too, so dogs can settle in alongside their owners.

Location-wise, it sits close to London Bridge and Borough Market, putting food stalls, riverside walks, and further pubs and restaurants within easy reach. There's plenty nearby for an evening out beyond the pub itself, making it a practical base for exploring this part of London on foot.

Great find, close to work for an overnight stay. Very comfortable single bed, no queues or issues with the shared bathrooms which were clean with a good hot shower. No noise or disturbance and ideal to have a bar with delicious food just below. Would recommend and will be returning.

Interesting experience. Easy to find. Specious and clean room. Everything is old but not bad for one night stay. Unfortunately shared toilet but it was expected. Pizza from the pub was extraordinary tasty! Overall I would stay again if need to be in this part of London .

A great neighborhood find! Reasonable prices, excellent friendly service, and the food will melt in your mouth. We each had the two different steak offerings and I can say, it was the best steak we have had in London!

Great place for a relaxing drink or to try the wonderful food. Pizzas are fantastic. They also serve the best Bloody Mary or Red Snapper, made with their home made tomato juice!
