Charming hotel a short walk from Canary Wharf. The hotel were accommodating and allowed us to check in over an hour early for no additional charge. The room was pleasant, quiet and comfortable. Bed very good and walk in shower was great. I was informed the room would have a bath and it didn’t which would be my only dissatisfaction. Otherwise Ernest Knox on reception was friendly, welcoming and helpful. This is a great place to stay and found it excellently located for attending an event at The O2 Arena. Short bus journey (108) from Poplar will take you right there and back free of charge. Will stay again

Lovely hotel, great value. Couldn't fault a thing. Great night's sleep, room spotlessly clean, great breakfast. Brilliant service.....greeted by Harsh in reception, so friendly and really made our stay special. Close to DLR easy to get around.

To be fair, the rooms are decent and the housekeeping service is actually very good. However, the location is extremely far from everything, making it very inconvenient. But the real dealbreaker here is the terrible management and unreliable staff. Last night, we explicitly spoke with the hotel regarding a late check-out. They formally gave us a rate of £15 per hour, and we arranged our entire travel plans based on this confirmation. Today at check-out, the receptionist bluntly dismissed us, saying she 'had no idea about this' and shifted the blame. If your official staff gives a specific rate, it is the hotel’s responsibility to honor it. Guests should not suffer because of your lack of internal communication. Shifting blame instead of fixing your own mistake is incredibly unprofessional. Good housekeeping cannot save a place with such poor customer service and a terrible location. Do not recommend."

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Lansbury Heritage Hotel & I would say my experience exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived the staff provided a warm welcome and outstanding customer service. Ernest Knox was amazing, friendly, & very helpful. His experience made everything smooth. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, quality & exceptional service. Thank you Lansbury Heritage Hotel. I would definitely be coming back!!
