What guests say
Jerry, here’s a version that’s well suited for a 4-star Google review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ We really enjoyed our stay at the Mad Hatter Hotel. The location is excellent and made it easy to explore London. The biggest highlight was the staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. A special thank you to Robbie, who manages the pub and hotel—he was tremendous and made us feel right at home. Housekeeping also did an outstanding job. Our room was spotless every day, and we even left them a tip because we appreciated their hard work. The complimentary bottled water in the refrigerator each day was a nice touch. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is that our third-floor room did not have air conditioning. During the London heat wave, the room became uncomfortably warm. If you’re visiting during the summer, I’d recommend checking the weather forecast before booking. Overall, this is a great value hotel with an unbeatable location and exceptional customer service. We’d definitely consider staying here again.

The hotel location is brilliant, it's really near to most of the famous tourist attraction's of Central London, and a three-minute walk from all of what the South Bank has to offer. I had the best hotel breakfast they have so much to chose from. The rooms are quiet and the beds are very comfortable. They have a good dinner selection. And the staff working at the front desk and in the bar were very friendly and helpful. All at a great price. I would fully recommend The Mad Hatter Hotel :)

Excellent location and friendly staff. They were very accommodating of an early check in and allowed us to leave our bags behind after we left to explore the city unencumbered. Really enjoyed the free breakfast as well and appreciated the tea/coffee/water that was included with the room. Room was clean and spacious. I would definitely stay here again!

The location is great - right over the river from kind of the heart of a lot of stuff. And it has a lot of character, so if you’re looking for London-y feeling and not cookie-cutter chain, this is great. Also the breakfast is very good and very generous. You can order off the menu or grab something from their continental buffet. Downside is there’s no AC, like a lot of London hotels, and the windows only open about an inch. This probably isn’t an issue 90% of the time, but we were there during a heat wave and it was tough.
