About The Z Hotel Gloucester Place

The Z Hotel Gloucester Place occupies a townhouse-style building on Gloucester Place, in the heart of Marylebone, with a modern, no-frills design that makes clever use of a smaller footprint. Rooms are compact but well equipped, each with an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning and drinks available in-room, giving guests the essentials without excess. A lift serves the building, and staff at the front desk offer concierge-style help alongside luggage storage and laundry service for those passing through on business or a short city break.

Breakfast is available on site, and a snack bar covers lighter bites, while free WiFi keeps guests connected throughout their stay. The location is one of the hotel's strongest points, with pubs, restaurants and other eateries within easy reach, plus entertainment options nearby for evenings out. Baker Street and Regent's Park are both close by, making this a practical base for exploring central London on foot.

Rooms are kept clean and the bathrooms modern, and the staff are consistently described as helpful, though some guests have noted that street or building noise can be an issue, so light sleepers may want to factor this in. For those prioritising location and comfort over space, it remains a solid choice in a well-connected part of the city.

Our stay at Z Hotels London exceeded our expectations. The location is simply outstanding. Whether you want to explore London’s famous landmarks, use public transport, or enjoy the city’s restaurants and shops, everything is within easy reach. It made our visit incredibly convenient and allowed us to make the most of our time in London. Our room was modern, exceptionally clean and thoughtfully designed. Although compact, every centimetre was used intelligently, making the room feel comfortable and practical rather than small. It was clear that the designers understood exactly what travellers need after a long day of sightseeing. We were also impressed by the cleanliness throughout the hotel and by the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. Everyone we met was welcoming, helpful and genuinely focused on ensuring guests had a pleasant stay. The atmosphere of the hotel perfectly matches the energy of London: modern, efficient, comfortable and welcoming. This hotel became the perfect base for our London adventure, including our unforgettable visit to the Warner Bros. Studio Tour and the many attractions the city has to offer. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend Z Hotels to anyone looking for excellent value, an unbeatable location and outstanding service in the heart of London. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable!

Very clean, sparsely furnished room, quiet. Great shower and modern bathroom. What’s missing is a place to put a suitcase (luggage rack?). In return, there is a spacious wardrobe. Tea/coffee facilities in the room. Very friendly welcome from the receptionist, with good information. Very, very friendly and attentive service at the bar from Amir. A good address in London for overnight stays. A more visible sign on the door would be nice. Otherwise: 5 stars!

Great location, nicely appointed compact rooms, nice bed / bedding / towels, terrific shower, coffee bags rather than instant, free WiFi, Sky TV. But the whole point of all of this is for comfort and a great night’s sleep - which I certainly didn’t get. I had a room in the basement which with the 24hr cafe above, with its wooden floor, meant loud footsteps, scrapes and something on wheels or castors waking me again and again all through the night. I have (belatedly) seen reviews on Tripadvisor complaining about this issue and think the hotel response of telling them to try requesting a higher floor room if one is available is appalling! Some poor sucker will get stuck down there, you know it’s an issue, reduce the price of those rooms accordingly and allow your guests to make the decision. I felt ripped off and not valued at all.

I would like to acknowledge Amir, who was working at the kitchen/bar this evening. Not only was the hot chocolate he prepared delicious, but his service was exceptional. I witnessed him attend to the needs and questions of many other patrons quickly and effectively, with a broad smile and a kind spirit. I was truly so impressed by his professionalism and hospitality. I enjoyed chatting with him and hearing a bit of his background, which is truly incredible. Many high praises for Amir and the whole Z staff at this hotel. I will stay here any time I come to London!
