About Travelodge London Central Waterloo
Waterloo is one of London's best-connected corners, with its mainline and Underground station putting the South Bank, theatreland and the rest of the capital within easy reach. Travelodge London Central Waterloo sits amid this activity on Waterloo Road, a straightforward base for anyone wanting to explore without spending heavily on where they sleep.
The hotel has 279 rooms across four floors, each with an en-suite bathroom and air conditioning, plus accessible rooms for those who need them. There's a restaurant and bar on site, a proper breakfast to set you up for the day, and drinks available in the room. Reception runs around the clock, and a lift serves all floors. Rooms are kept clean and staff are consistently described as helpful, though some guests have found noise from the surrounding area or corridors noticeable, so light sleepers might want an interior room if possible.
Pets are welcome, and pubs, restaurants and other eateries are all close by. Parking isn't available on site, but the APCOA car park on Cornwall Road is about eight minutes' walk away and charges for use. With prices ranging from £35 to £150 depending on dates, it's a flexible option for both quick overnight stops and longer London breaks.

What guests say
Great value for money with excellent transport links into London, especially South Bank. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The gentleman on reception was fantastic and even helped arrange for me and my friends to have rooms on the same floor. He was also very attentive to safety, reminding a member of staff not to mention room numbers out loud, which was a really nice touch. The rooms were clean, comfortable and had everything you need for a stay. The bathroom was a little dated with a few unfinished-looking details, but it was well cleaned and perfectly functional. Overall, a great stay for the price and I’d definitely recommend it for anyone wanting an affordable London base.

I was really impressed. I am a terrible sleeper but, slept really well here. The air conditioning was a real help and it was so quiet which was a real surprise. Breakfast was laid out really nice and plenty of choice and catered for special dietary requirements so well. Everyone was friendly and room was clean. Great shower too. Will definitely stay again.

All the staff but one were amazing. I have to thank Freddy for making my 10 yr old feel so welcomed from start to finish. We told him it was our last day and he got a gift for my boy. Freddy should be promoted or given a pay rise for his kindness. the world needs more of him in it. Phiza also came to us at breakfast was so welcoming and laughed with us even tho she didn’t know why we were laughing. It was clear to see she was happy to see smiling faces

Had 4 nights here whilst in London. Hotel was good value, nothing special but very adequate. Breakfast was good and we were not approached by staff to ask "if everything is ok" until Saturday, our 3rd morning when we were asked THREE times! On the Sunday as we came down to breakfast, at least THREE members of staff fussed round us at the desk, one of whom inappropriately told us her name amongst the fuss. During our breakfast we were asked if "the food was good", later fussed over again, including a request to give a review by QR code. We were not left in peace to enjoy a relaxed breakfast! Thankfully, one member of staff (called Bridget I think) was excellent. She had first rate customer skills, worked hard and looked after the customers. Unlike SOME of the others she wasn't touting for praise, just got on with the job in hand. If management are telling staff to fuss over customers to this extent in order to get good reviews, for me it has the opposite effect.
