About Premier Inn London Southwark Southwark Station
The Cut is one of those handy central London streets that puts you within easy reach of the South Bank's theatres, riverside walks and eateries, and it's here that Premier Inn London Southwark Southwark Station makes its home, close to Southwark tube station and the wider transport network. It's a practical base for exploring the city without having to pay West End prices.
The hotel has 129 rooms across four floors, all with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and free WiFi, plus family and accessible options for those who need them. Rooms are consistently described as clean and comfortable, with particular praise for the showers and beds. There's a restaurant and bar on site along with breakfast service, and drinks can be brought to your room. Staff are friendly and helpful, and 24-hour reception means late arrivals aren't a problem.
Beyond the hotel, The Cut and surrounding streets offer plenty of pubs, restaurants and entertainment within walking distance. Parking isn't available on site, though chargeable parking can be found ten minutes' walk away at a nearby car park - given the overnight rates, most visitors will find public transport the easier option in this part of London.
What guests say
I regularly stay at this hotel for both work and leisure, and have never had a problem! This is probably the best Premier Inn that I have stayed in within London without a doubt! Most of the staff recognise me as I have stayed here a lot! The rooms are nice and spacious and have adequate storage space. The room and bathroom were spotless and incredibly clean. There is excellent phone signal within the whole hotel, even on the lower ground floor), and the WI-FI is fantastic and speedy on the Ultimate service. The location of the hotel is perfect with only being a 2-minute walk to Southwark station, and a 5-10 minute walk to Waterloo. You can walk to the London Eye/South Bank within 20 minutes! Plenty of supermarkets and coffee shops nearby such as Sainsbury's behind the hotel or on Blackfriars Road, Tesco next to the tube station, and Waitrose a 5 minute walk away. If you are staying for leisure, I would certainly recommend as it is located very close to main areas within Central London, and it situated in an extremely quiet residential area. I was surprised how quiet it was being in the middle of Central London! If staying for work, it is extremely well-connected to the tube where Bond Street and Canary Wharf are only 10 minute tube journey times. Overall, a great stay!

The location of this property is perfect and right within walking distance of everything. The customer service was also very good. As for the rooms, they are decent, though the cleanliness could be improved. The carpets needed a thorough vacuuming, and the table and chairs needed a better wipe-down before we checked in. We also encountered a couple of moths in the room, but once we took care of them, it was fine. Overall, it’s a decent, okay place to stay if you prioritize a great location, but it definitely needs a deeper clean.

Overall rooms were comfortable and, I slept well. The shower was great, with a power option that really worked too. Breakfast across the way was also good, with plenty of options for day but second day (Tuesday) it took a while to top up the cooked items, and when they did, they were cold. The area was great, loads of eateries for evening meals and spoiled for choice.

We were moved to an accessible room despite booking a standard double room. This meant where everything was placed was not suitable for a couple that did not have accessibility needs - I.e. sinks, beds, hangar rails, mirrors etc all at a height for someone with accessibility needs, not someone at 6 ft+. Additionally meant the room was not like the images - particularly the bathroom actually being a washroom. When raising this we were informed we could not be moved as the hotel was fully booked. why accept our original booking if this could not be facilitated.
