About Travelodge London Stratford

Spread across eleven floors, Travelodge London Stratford offers 150 rooms on High Street, putting guests within easy reach of Stratford Station, the Abba Voyage Arena and Westfield Shopping Centre. It's a practical base for exploring East London and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, whether the visit is for shopping, events or simply passing through the capital.

Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and drinks available in-room, with accessible rooms on request. The hotel has a restaurant and bar on site, plus breakfast available, and reception is staffed around the clock. Beds are comfortable and staff are generally helpful, though some rooms have been found poorly cleaned or overly warm, so it's worth requesting a fan or checking the room on arrival if this matters to you.

Pets are welcome, and there's a lift for those on higher floors. Parking isn't available on site, but chargeable parking can be found ten minutes' walk away at the Westfield Shopping Centre car park on Montfichet Road. Further pubs, restaurants and entertainment are all within easy walking distance, making this a straightforward option for a night or two in Stratford.

It was passable. Twin rooms are really small and in The heatwave they are ridiculously hot. They have Aircon but don't use it to the rooms and it's desperately uncomfortable. Breakfast was good but the restaurant for food in the evening was poor. One night it took 40 minutes to get food and drinks and the next night we received something we didn't order. It's alright for a night. Clean enough but I wouldn't rush back

Only thing good about this place is the location. No A/C which made the room uncomfortably hot, lack of room service and changing of bed sheets and towels. The bathroom is designed terribly and causes water to spill everywhere when showering. No refrigerator inside room which makes it very inconvenient when I want a cold drink and also no microwave. Overall this was a very frustrating stay and I do not recommend.

Don't waste your money, find a different hotel. I can't fault the reception staff who were friendly. But this is one of the worst travelodges I've stayed in. With no aircon the rooms are disgustingly hot. There's a desk fan that just churns around the heat, and at night maybe you could open your window a fraction, but then you let in the loud traffic noise and sirens as windows are on the main road. Normally fill the sink with cold water to try and keep drinks cool, but no plug. Staff offered ice at the bar but its a faff. The room wasn't clean, bathroom floor was filthy, desk was sticky, carpet was gross, cups were dirty. There was mould in the bathroom, but with poor ventilation and a shower that chucks loads of water on the floor its not surprising. The location is quite convenient, but not worth it when the room is so hot you can't sleep and makes you feel ill and uncomfortable for the duration of your stay. I never really leave bad reviews, just don't want anyone to get caught out. Especially when they rack up the prices for concert days, one of the most expensive and horrible travelodge stays I've ever had.

No these best experience but good enough for a night or two. No air-cons in any of the rooms, we visited at the tail end of the June heatwave. Rooms are basic, could do with an upgrade and thorough clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. About a 10 minute walk to London Stadium, Westfield Mall and the Station.
