Food was super disappointing. It took long time for the food to come, nearly 45mins. The sandwich was inedible. They somehow overcooked the bread which made it rock hard. Staff were a little bit on edge and rushed of their feet. I think they are just understaffed. They did take it off the bill but the staff member didn't even acknowledge it. Overall super disappointing, well missed opportunity as it's in the heart of Liverpool street, great decor but execution and food quality has cut too many corners. Hopefully they can improve.

I was at Bread Street Kitchen & Bar - The City, yesterday with my team, 14 of us in total. It is a nice restaurant. The music is a little too loud, and it is difficult to hear the person sitting two seats away from you. It is impossible to have a conversation with someone on the other side of the table. There were not many vegetarian options, so we had to compromise a little. We ordered a wide range of dishes, from heirloom tomato salad and Caesar salad to chicken curry, cod and smash burgers, and more... Gluten free food was provided, although there was a possibility of cross contamination. That said, we were served by Klara, who was very attentive and took very good care of us. The team was happy with the choice of venue and the food, and that is what matters. We would not necessarily choose this place again, but we had a good experience, with special thanks to Klara for looking after us.

You expect a certain standard when dining at a restaurant associated with Gordon Ramsay-and while he’s famous for his colourful language, I found myself using every word (and more ) upon leaving this place. It was, quite simply shocking and disgracefully diabolical. Having dined at the Singapore venue several times, where the experience has always been exceptional, this visit was a complete contrast-more like stepping into a real life Kitchen Nightmares. From the moment we were seated, service was painfully slow and inattentive. While waiting, I had a clear view of the kitchen and was genuinely taken aback to see a line chef repeatedly eating with his hands while continuing to send out dishes-hardly reassuring. Just before our food arrived, the waiter approached, placed salt and pepper on the table, and casually remarked, you’re probably going to need this. That alone set the tone. We both ordered the roasted cod, which turned out to be as disappointing as the warning suggested-underseasoned, mushy, and completely lacking in texture. It was sloppy and frankly unpleasant. The waiter clearly knew what was coming, which only made the experience worse. At no point after our meals arrived did anyone come over and ask us if everything was ok. All in all, one of the most disappointing dining experiences we’ve had in quite some time-and certainly not what you’d expect from an establishment bearing such a renowned name. Thankfully there was a Marks & Spencer across the street where we were able to get a sandwich to satisfy our hunger.
