DoubleTree by Hilton Kensington

I am a lucky man. I have stayed in many London hotels and this is the best of them. The facilities are great, I slept like a dead man, the breakfast is awesome. I just love the secret garden. It is beautiful and a rare find in cebtral London. Maybe it is too big a secret I am sure that the hotel could make more use of it. It should be full every evening But top of the pops is none of this but the people who work at the hotel. Everybody helpful, everybody knowledgeable with special thanks to Usman, Chris and Karim Keep it going guys. You are doing something special

The beds were extremely comfortable so I was very grateful for that. The AC was working, but of course it was super hot but overall in general, the staff provided a fan for our room and that helps cool the temperature down so I’m very grateful they went out of their way to find a fan for us. Would definitely recommend staying here. Great restaurants, nearby walking distance to everything. The underground is like one minute. Great location.

I wish the service had been much better. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. The staff at the front treated people differently, and it felt discriminatory and disrespectful. What was even more upsetting was that, because they were short-staffed, one of their employees asked our elderly parents to help clean up after dinner service. That is completely unacceptable, especially at a property that charges premium prices. We booked one of their most expensive suites expecting excellent hospitality and service, but instead we were treated very poorly. The experience was nowhere near worth the price we paid, and I would not recommend staying here. Mike and sheville was the person who worked in the front desk

We stayed at this hotel in a double room with three adults, me, wife and son. The beds in the double rooms were doubles, not queens, which were fine, and the room was adequately big enough for us all. The room was clean, well presented, comfortable and had all the amenities one would expect from such a property. The hotel is in a good area with local pubs, shopping and restaurants in easy walking distance. The tube station is right across the road and a short trip into the heart of London. It is also on the direct line to Heathrow which works well for international travel. Note that there are no lifts at this tube station so you toting your bags down some stairs. Classy place, would look at this place again next time I am in London.
