Stunning decor, even better food! This restaurant is dominated by a soft pastel colour palette of blush pinks and powder blues, paired with abundant floral installations and confectionery displays. This flamboyance in its appearance is what initially attracted me to it. I walked in on a Wednesday at midday, despite being quite busy and packed, we were able to be seated immediately. Although the floral and artisanal sweet displays are eye-catching, they did at first overwhelm me. When you initially enter the restaurant, it does seem like they take up the majority of the space, creating a congested feel. However, that is just the cost of making a place so visually attractive. We ordered the chicken tacos, which came with a hefty serving of chips, and the beef stroganoff. Both meals were delectable. I was thoroughly impressed with the quality and presentation of the food, which was definitely worth the price m. You can tell this place puts genuine care and effort into what they make. On a practical note, the toilets were very clean and spacious, which I appreciated. However, as a heads-up for anyone with accessibility needs, the loo is located downstairs. Navigating the restaurant in a wheelchair might also be difficult because the seating arrangement is quite tight, making the pathways narrow. Aside from that, I loved this restaurant and would highly recommend to anyone! It’s a beautiful place that you can visually enjoy with a delicious comforting hot meal.

Love the vibe, service was really good. Menu offers also great, a lot to pick from! The only reason it gets 4/5 is the portion sizes, they were very small - and very expensive. So for someone who likes a full breakfast this isn't the best option. If you're into the vibe more and you eat smaller breakfast - great!

I visited Fait Maison with a group of my girlfriends, and we had a lovely time. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful inside, with a stylish and elegant flowery atmosphere that’s perfect for catching up with friends and taking photos. The service was really nice. The staff were friendly and attentive, and when we asked one of the waiters to take some pictures for us, they happily and patiently helped us without making us feel rushed. The food was nice, although I did feel it was a little overpriced for the taste and portion sizes. While everything was presented well, the flavour didn’t quite match the price point. Overall, we had a good experience. The beautiful setting and excellent service made it an enjoyable visit, and it’s definitely a great spot for a girls’ day out or a special catch-up with friends.

My son and I stopped by Fait Maison and ordered £5.50 tea/£6 juice drink and Julius’ Toast and The Greek from the breakfast menu. After ordering, as I was on my way to the toilet, the waitress called after me and asked if I wanted the halloumi or the smoked salmon with my order. It was a closed choice and I didn’t have a menu in front of me so I didn’t realise these were not part of the meal and were chargeable extras. When our breakfasts arrived, both of us had been given deep fried halloumi. I wish this had been mentioned because although we both ate the halloumi, my dish already had a lot of feta so the addition made it too cheese-heavy. Overall though the sourdough base was delicious, all served promptly and the dishes were beautifully presented. There’s a 12.5% service charge but it is mentioned on the menu. Five stars for the atmosphere as there were lots of families with children.
