A lively and friendly pub in the heart of North Chingford with a car park at the rear. Also at the rear is a beer garden and a covered seating area that I found out was the smoking area. The food is really good and the service is excellent. I had a Cheeseburger with bacon and it was right up there with the best I've eaten, the fries that came with it were cooked just right and the accompanying sauce was excellent. The car park is accessed via an entrance between the pub and the Police Station and is gravel, so possibly an issue for wheelchair users.

Great night and great food. There was a mistake with our order on main meals that took a little while to rectify so we had eaten half our mains with one guest sat waiting but it was busy. The staff were amazing they were so friendly, welcoming and professional. They had run out of ribeye and ravioli which were my two choices but shows how popular it is. Place is lovely, warm, clean and the other customers are friendly its a great atmosphere. Will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Organised a wake for a group of 20 guests. All went smoothly and staff was helpful and friendly. Everyone was happy with the wide variety selection spread. Having the tea station was helpful and found overall to be well organised and great value. Thank you to the staff for making everything go so smoothly on the day.

Pub closed and reopened by new company. Quick lick of paint seems to be about it! Could very definitely use air conditioning, very uncomfortable when there is any kind of heat or a crowd. Also they have got rid of Sky sports and put the price of the beer up. Dirty mirrors behind the bar coupled with dirty glass (looks like dust from the renovation!).
