We absolutely loved this style restaurant , we’re already planning to come again. First of all, the cold noodle was fantastic — smooth, chewy and refreshing, tossed with cucumber and gluten bites, each mouthful coated in a fragrant mix of chilli oil and black vinegar. So appetising. The Toasted Pork Murger was excellent too — the bun was crispy on the outside, and the braised pork inside was perfectly tender and flavourful. The skewers were also irresistible , I love this chill oil dip, The sauce is the soul of this place — it tastes like a handmade special chilli oil. The service was also very attentive and friendly, and the food arrived quickly. Highly recommended.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Murger Han for many years, dating all the way back to when they first opened their City branch. Over the years, I’ve visited countless times, and one thing that has remained consistent is the authenticity of their food. The lamb paomo is easily one of my favourite dishes here. The flavour is rich, comforting, and reminds me of the traditional taste you would find in Xi’an. I would also highly recommend the liangpi, which is fresh, refreshing, and packed with flavour. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. It’s clear that they take pride in maintaining the quality of their food and service. As someone who has been dining here since the early days, I can confidently say that Murger Han is one of the most authentic Chinese restaurants I’ve visited in the UK. If you’re looking to try genuine Xi’an-style cuisine, this is definitely a place worth visiting.

The bone marrow noodles were good overall as the noodles themselves had a great texture and nice taste. Also the greens blew me away as it was my first time eating such (I don’t know what they were called unfortunately) and really packed a strong and delicious flavour. That said, I had a huge gripe with the way the dish is served. The bones sit in the bowl that allow the noodles, veg sauce etc to all get stuck underneath the bones. This is because the length of the bones are greater than the diameter of the bowl at the bowls lowest bit less than the diameter at its highest, so the bones sit like a bridge halfway down the bowl. I also just found it inconvenient to have these very large bones in my bowl. Perhaps this is a cultural thing that I am being ignorant too, but I would have enjoyed the meal much more had the bone marrow just been scraped out of the bones and put into my noodles prior to serving. Additionally, I found that the oil/sauce/spices drowned out a lot of the flavour of the dish as it was all I could taste for most of my meal, so I would prefer less of it. The prices are great for the quantity and how filling the food is (coming from someone with a very large appetite) The interior was nice and wasn’t too cramped. It wasn’t too loud or quiet to have a conversation in normal speaking effort, although it was on the louder side The service is done by scanning a QR code and paying online via a website.

Had such a lovely meal at Murger HanHan and honestly everything from the food to the service was great. Highly recommend: - Beef murger - super flavourful and juicy - Bone marrow noodles - the absolute showstopper - Tofu chicken broth soup with beef chunks - rich, comforting, and perfect with the handmade noodles - Dumplings - tasted incredibly fresh and definitely homemade One thing I really liked is that they make the noodles fresh on site, and they also offer FREE noodle refills which is such a nice touch. No service charge either, which is rare to see in central London these days. We even ended up getting extra noodles because they were that good. The portions are HUGE and really filling, so definitely come hungry. If you don’t eat much, one bowl might honestly be enough for you. Also loved that they had good vegetarian options too, so it works well whether you’re a meat lover or vegetarian. The service was warm, quick, and attentive throughout. Overall such a comforting and satisfying meal in Mayfair - would definitely come back again.

Diners like this restaurant's authentic Xi'an-style hand-pulled noodles, especially the flavorful Biang Biang and bone marrow varieties, and the crispy murgers. They also highlight the generous portions, free noodle refills, and excellent value for money. Visitors consistently praise the friendly, attentive staff and welcoming atmosphere.
