The Clay Oven

While the venue itself is nice and the atmosphere was pleasant for a party, my experience was completely overshadowed by a dangerous catering error. ​The Issue: I was served starters that contained completely raw chicken. It appeared to be mixed in with the cooked pieces. ​The Risk: This is a massive health and safety violation. Had a child or an elderly guest consumed this without noticing, the consequences could have been life-threatening. ​The Management Response: When I alerted the staff, they were incredibly dismissive, simply telling me to "leave it aside." There was no apology, no immediate investigation into the batch of food, and no sense of urgency regarding the risk of salmonella. ​I’ve attached photos of the raw meat for reference. I strongly advise the management to retrain their kitchen staff and front-of-house team on food safety protocols. I will not be eating here again.

A great thank you to Nitesh and team at Clay Oven Alperton, Wembley for making this a great event for my son's 18th birthday party. The venue is fantastic, great parking facilities, Suite 2 which we used was large enough, great stage and lighting. The food was delicious, cooked in-house and freshly prepared. The staff were absolutely great, all guest tables were kept full of food and drink. A Highly recommend and would definitely use again for any future function.

My wife and I visited the Clay Oven on 31st December for their New year's eve dinner and dance. I must say how impressed we were with the event as a whole. Everything was so well organised,and very nicely decorated. The food was excellent. Even though there was a set 3 course meal, they still went above and beyond to make items for my wife to cater for her requirements. Not many places would do this. The staff were all fantastic. All very helpful and professional,and all gave service with a smile.The live music was just excellent. You could see everyone having a really nice time. There was a real upbeat happy atmosphere throughout the whole evening. So a very special thank you to Nitesh and his team for making our New year's eve and New year's day a very memorable event. It was the perfect start to 2026. We shall definitely be back next year.

We recently hosted a family celebration at Clay Oven Banqueting Hall and the experience was outstanding. The food was exceptional—authentic Indian flavours with a very elegant presentation. The staff were attentive, professional, and made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The venue itself is beautiful and well maintained, perfect for both weddings and private events. Highly recommended.
