What diners say
Welcoming historic pub in London. Met Henry and he is the man! Come here for the massive Gin selection or a nice pint of your favorite beer. Cheers!

Sitting in spitting distance of St Paul's Cathedral, this former gin palace is all about gin and good food. The smash burger is better than many you find in London at a similar price point. Spacious and airy yet still feels cosy and snug, lively but unpretentious crowd having fun on a Saturday night. Staff were courteous and polite, efficient and with a little personality. If you're looking for somewhere to refuel after a long day sightseeing or even pre or after theatre food and drinks, this is a nice option.

AWESOME!! We are here on a Sunday night. Low key, friendly. Bartender is a delight. Food..we grabbed a side of fries, yes fries on the menu. The best I have had to date. I wonder how awesome the chips are! Highly recommend, at least as of March, almost April, 2026.

What can i say, if you want authentic London pub atmosphere, this is. The place. Old school personal welcome as you walk in the door from the friendliest guy in town. A beautiful authentic layout with bags of history oozing from every corner with no doubt tales to tell. They have a 50 + cover function room available for private hire as well as the well sticked bar area. Situated a stroll from the Thames near Blackfriars, right on Londons infamous Fleet Street. The Guinness is banging too. Under new management in 2026, its a must visit. I’ll definitely be back.
